This week's <b>Mortal Movie Monday</b> feature is another fan made 2D throwback like the <a href="http://www.trmk.org/news/12506/mortal_movie_monday_mortal_kombat_vs_street_fighter_pt_1.html">Mortal Kombat vs Street Fighter series</a> we did before. This time the video created by <a href="http://red-lantern.newgrounds.com/">Red-Lantern</a> of <a href="http://www.newgrounds.com">Newgrounds</a> is called <a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/469655">Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe in 2D</a>. It features re-enacts <a href='http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_vs_dc_universe/'>Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe</a> but all in an 2D art style similar to that of <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_3">Mortal Kombat 3</a> era. It also features a few cameos from other characters from <a href='http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_vs_dc_universe/'>Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe</a>. It's a fun watch, and a nice take on the game in a new style.

The first 40 secs were boring. When the music hits about 1:30+ secs it takes off. My only crib is the poor quality blurs around Subby's ice form the person did. If they had done it better, you'd not see the edge of Subby's animation frame.

Forgot to mention the Scorpion Vs Supe's fight was just plain awesome... Poor Subby. lol.
 
Why didn't you just post the newgrounds link? It's clearly of higher quality than some bloody youtube rip. But I already commented on this in the suggestion thread.
 
I think the coolest thing about this is that the characters all appeared in the order in which their renders first appeared.
 
pretty sure someone posted this in the months leading up to MKvDC being released, but it seems to have been updated with sounds from the game. Cool vid tho. A little overboard at times, but cool.
 
Wow, on par with the Scorpion vs. Liu Kang fight I saw a while back (is it done by the same guy?). Awesome job this guy has done!
