Mortal Kombat on the Daily Show

pics or it didnt happen

and speaking of news channels, I'm surprised fox news hasnt bashed MK9 yet. They went on forever about Mass Effect of all games. not even Duke numem. But Mass effect? oh no thats the worst!

EDIT : thanks for posting video

uhhh, i posted a video that TRMKs twitter posted, or can you not see? ;)

EDIT: lol, youre welcome

Oh, I thought it was something bad. He did make a good point IMO, and made me laugh at the same time.

That was a close one!

i'm confused on what everyone is so bummed about...

am i wrong in thinking, people who are not permitted to see rated R movies, should also not be able to buy videogames rated M?

whats the problem here? ur too young to watch people murder eachother, or see porn, so why should you be able to play the witcher, or any other game that includes intense violence and nudity?

EDIT: fwiw, there is no way in hell i'd let my son play the kind of videogames that i play until he is at least 15-16...and even then, i'll be the one approving or disapproving the game.

I played MK at probably 7. The cartoonishness of the violence makes it less impactful.

I was so pumped when he gave them a legit warning. My guess was for the buzzsaw.

As for x-rays. That was the tamest one they could have shown. I guess they didnt feel like using 2 different characters for the stock footage

It was a good segment by them. Good pts. I would not let my kid by this game till 14-16. And still then it will b my decision. But yes it comes to parents deciding yes or no. But some parents r too lazy or not Involved enough

Also super Mario boner was an instant classic hahaha

My sister saw me playing the game once. She's seven. Thankfully, I was able to do a babality instead of a fatality.

yes thats true the government has no right regulate what parents should allow their kids to view.

i mean when real life news is reporting a man getting shot or how people run in ur house while sleeping to steal ur stuff thats more important than if ur kid plays a game on tv.

imo the supreme court made the right choice by not implementing a law that would have been a waste of dwindling state funds its not the best thing we should be using our money on.

same goes for food too. If people want to become lardasses, thats their choice. Also theres no reason to ban happy meals from Mcdonalds to discourage kids from eating there. Thats the parents responsibility.
