Is there actually a "English only" rule on this board?

It's not explicitly stated anywhere, so technically no. It's just greatly encouraged that people only post in English since it makes the forums easier for us gringos to moderate.

I see what you mean, but Daniel Pesina didn't have green powers either. (I'm not trying to be rude here, just making a statement)
More than recreating actors skin tone, the goal is to recreate how the game looked.

Bleed is getting pretty close to the original color but not yet exactly the same.
in MK1 particularly, Cage's skin tone was Beige/Buff/Cream colored with darker tones being shades of Khaki, also a few Tuscan tones.

Great work so far, Bleed.
I'm sure the seams won't be visible in the animations.

His body looks great, but as I said about Liu Kang, his face and hairstyle should be improved, because he's not very similiar. Here is the comparison:

maybe what you say about the eyes is true but you can't use the first image as reference.... the one with the ingame background, cause pesina and ho sung pak did that interview some time after the actual game sprites, and maybe daniel pesina had another hair style as well as ho sung pak, in this interview, ho sung pak's hair is shorter than in the sprites.. maybe daniel pesina's hair is shorter too

Yes, in the middle photo he has different hairstyle than in the game, but I wanted to show that his eyes are a lot bigger according to Bleed's version and you can clearly see his face there. And about the hairstyle, Bleed made it more similiar to the version from the interview (middle photo), than to the ingame version (third photo). His hairstyle in Mk1 was simple, he didn't have that wave-like hair like in the later games and shorter. It seems that Bleed was looking at MK2 behind the scenes photos to make his hairstyle:

And here is interesting information - the sprites in MK1 were modified a little, that's why the actors look a little different than ingame fighters:

Here's what it looks like after some quick changes in Zbrush. Made the eyes bigger and a little higher. The brow is lower, the face is a little thinner.

I can't make it 100%, I'm not that good.

If somebody want's to do a paint over, that's cool.

Was shocked when saw his face. He looks much older than necessary.
However good work with eyes, Bleed!

He looks a lot better, but too old, also his hair are still too long. Maybe it's because of lighting.

I think that he has too many wrinkles. His face should be more smooth. I tried to show what I mean on this screen:

His eyebrows are too thick and he has a little bags under eyes, like he didn't sleep whole night. Maybe his cheeks are too big also.
But you did a great work, now he really looks like Johnny Cage, he just needs few quick fixes.

Perhaps the distance between the mouth and eyes should be smaller too. Cheeks and eyes should not be sunken.

I agree about reducing the wrinkles just a bit which is making him look older but overall I'd say this is a huge improvement from what you had before.

That is because you are looking at it from within zBrush. The Skin shader Bleed showed earlier looked like it was from 3ds Max which is much lighter colored and thus more accurate.

I think Johnny Cage is lookin pretty good so far! Didnt someone on here have a Hi res version of the mk1 cabinet side art with Cage on it? I would think that would be pretty much a perfect pic to compare with.
