Mortal Kombat 11 General Discussion Media Thread

I was at work when the story mode trailer and Kombat Kast was released online. Looking forward to the story in the game, but I do wonder if the past versions of themselves are from the new timeline, not the old one? Otherwise Liu Kang would be a ghost or zombie.

Apparently the unlockables are Shang Tsung and Mileena - possibly Shinnok as well, but we don't know this yet.

This is old i know it but i don't believe the secret characters. Why no pic or any evidence. Rain has a new costume and a pic. Tho He is a modifier just like Shinnok so why would Shinnok be in. And Mileena is a weird choice for a secret and i honestly don't think she is in this game at all. Shang tsung is the only believable one

I believe that roster to be accurate - a lot of what I've been told has come true, and Mileena is a very popular character and someone I can definitely see being an unlockable, even if she isn't part of the story. My initial thought was that Shinnok would just be an NPC as he looks this way from the intro trailer we saw at the reveal event, but if the story leaks I've read are true (and they line up with roster leaks, so I think they might be) then I can see Shinnok being playable, and possibly being revived at some point and becoming relevant to the story.

The same guy who told me what the full (non-DLC) roster would be a few weeks ago (before the leaked screenshots were posted) also told me a few plot threads, told me that Frost would be the revamped character that would surprise/shock people, and told me that Kano could throw Molotovs. Another rumour was that Rain would be an unlockable as well, but the guy who spoke to me said that some of his sources said this was true and some said it wasn't true, and that he personally had never seen an in-game render of Rain or any confirmation that he was in, but that he was aware of MK11 concept art for Rain... but Rain (and Fujin) had MKX concept art, and we know they were only NPCs in MKX, so that doesn't really mean anything.

However, speaking of Rain... lol, here's my current favourite 'leak' video. It's something I'd love to be true, but I won't let myself believe this shit. I can't take it anymore.

whos that above Shao Kahn? and whos that to the right of Kung Loa? Frost or Kitana? also i hope Mileena sits out this game. like why kill her in the last game? so if theyre just going to pretend nobody died in mkx then why not bring back Quan Chi?

I think this guy is a troll. The images were too blurry. But then why would he just lie in your face like that tho

Those tips on Shao Kahn's helmet are way too tall, I wish they'd cut them down to about half that size or even take them off completely. I'm sure he'll have some other cool helmets for customization but this one just looks a bit over designed. Kotal looks great BTW.
