Morons at Game Crazy

Ok, so I called up my local Game Crazy (the one I preordered my Premium Edition at) and just for my own peace of mind, I asked when MK: Armageddon is coming out... Here's how the conversation went...

MORON: Welcome to Game Crazy where you... (blah blah blah annoying sales pitch blah blah) What can I do for you today?
ME: I just wanted to see if Mortal Kombat Armageddon has been shipped in yet.
MORON: It's not coming in until October 31st.
ME: 31ST?!!! I thought the release date was the 9th!
MORON: I don't see anything yet.
ME: Alright................
MORON: ..............
ME: <click>

Then, I called the closest Game Stop. The sales rep there said October 10th.

Then, I called the next closest Game Crazy. The sales rep said Tuesday (10th) or Wednesday (11th).

Keep in mind that I live in the US of A. Now, let it sink in... Now laugh at the moron.
 
LOL, indeed a moron. Lucky for you, yours is out on the 9th. Mines out on the 26th. Whats the date at your place BTW?
 
You mean the current date and not the date of Armageddon? It is now currently October 7th at 3:51 in the AM.
 
I loved Game Crazy when it was inside Hollywood video near me, now I have to go all the way to (insert far place from allentown here) just to look at what they have. That was where I was going to pre-order as well lol, they are morons.
 
Yeah, all of the ones close to me are inside Hollywood Video stores, so it's not so bad. It still just kinda pissed me off that I know more about games and release dates than the counter jockeys at the local game stores. (Oh, and the punctuation in those quotes is accurate. Go ahead, read it out loud to your friends... lol)

I just called the Gamecrazy, and that guy told it come out on the 10th.
I just said thanks you for that information.
 
I live in South Houston, Texas. It's the only Game Crazy in South Houston and it's right across from the High School, so with our great Texas education system, that store's gonna be stocked with employees that don't know jack until it burns to the ground...














... because if I don't get my MKA in the next two days, that's exactly what's gonna happen!!! ;)
 
I'm half expecting some N00B to sign up here within the next 24 hours and blurt out every concievable spoiler imaginable about MKA, without labelling his/her posts with the appropriate spoiler alerts. :mrgreen:

Sounds like the Game Crazy guy got you all angry with an intentional bad date. ;) We're all quick to insult, but perhaps, just once, he's a customer service artist!

Kaufman would be proud.
 
Yeah.... he wasn't very Kaufman-esque... he was more Dice-Clay-esque. No tact, no grace, no brains. :)

Meh, I never pre-order anything. Guess I am just patient ^_^ If it's there, it's there. If it isn't, I can wait until they get some in. Your reason is why I don't pre-order. Too many morons.
 
Yeah, but I'd rather have a Premium Edition reserved for only me... It came in today, my Mom is picking it up for me as we speak. Too bad I'm stuck at work.
 
Well, they did it AGAIN. While I was at work, they sold the REGULAR version of MK:Armageddon to my parents with the money I pre-ordered my PREMIUM EDITION with. And get this! Instead of investigating why there were still $11.70 left on my account, they gave it back as change! Now, I have to go in the morning to pick up my game and whatever free I'm supposed to get with it and I even kept all of my other receipts from when I first pre-ordered it, payed it off, etc. just in case they try to hassle me by claiming I didn't order the Premium Edition. I'm deprived of yet another night of gameplay because I can't open it if I'm going to return it. Damn you, Game Crazy!!!

Why not you just asked your parent to pay the game and u pay ur parent back later when you get your check..

No, I already had paid for the game on the 22nd of last month.

I need to get a refund on the one my parents got.
