TAKEDA HAS A HARPOON TOO, he may not be using telekenisis. JAQUI looks badass, looking like she has mini guns on her arms on some Mega-Man sh#t. and KUNG JIN doing some spectacular moves with that bow, the possibilities are endless with that weapon.
 
I think the new characters look sick especially Kung Jin & Kenshi's son. And this next gen graphics look so good, I was worried the story mode cutscenes would look weird, like how Liu'd chest looked in MK9 it looked really bad in cutscenes and so did the cutscene fights. I want to know what [MENTION=18014]theincubuslord[/MENTION] thinks now that we pretty much can confirm the new guys. Also the zombies looks pretty cool this time, like netherrealm demons. And DP you might want to relax because chances are Kitiana will become free.
 
I'm actually beginning to get interested in Takeda. I was afraid he would take Kenshi's powers and moveset, but it seems he has a rather unique one involving metallic whips that comes out of his armbracers. I also like his style with the Metal Gear look - a tight bodysuit with armourplates on it and a scarf. Very modern ninja-chic ala Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden.

He doesn't have a harpoon, he's using mechanical tendrils.
 
Cassie, Ferra/Tor, Jacquie, Erron Black, D'vora, Takeda, Kung Jin... that's at least 7 new characters. One more and I'd be pleased as punch. Right now, I'm at least pleased as pumpkins for that many new characters.
 
Did anyone else think that the Asian lady talking about "our village" and "the Emperor" was the reboot version of Li Mei?

If shinnok's not playable that's one of the biggest mistakes in Mortal Kombat HISTORY!
 
I feel bad for anyone who has to play this on last gen systems. The game looks phenomenal. They are really taking advantage of the added horsepower.
 
Agreed, im glad he doesn't have Kenshi's moved. Pretty badass looking character. Also did anyone notice how beautiful outworld is? When you see Cassie talking to Kotal about Mileena. Looks awesome, I know I'll be taking lots of screens with the share feature on ps4

I do believe that Sindel,Rain, and Baraka are cameos. what I don't understand, is Shinnok's place in all this. If he is not playable, I believe that he has a really important role, but I can't say he is the boss 100%. Quan-Chi serves Shinnok, and we don't know what he is up to yet.

On the other hand we know that at least one post mk3 character will make the cut and that the story will be told by jumping from one period of time to another. Maybe you just have to fight Shinnok to unlock him or something.

I also believe that Sub-Zero and Scorpion are not enemies anymore. I believe Scorpion's learns the truth

One more new character? Boon said half the roster would be new! He still owes us a handful more haha...
 
Did anyone notice Raiden's classic look when he was absorbing Shinnok in that amulet? I bet that's some kind of flashback to a MK tournament we've never seen from the past.

You can see him with a sword in his flashback training with Scorpion.

Also, per the webseries casting call that mentioned Kung Jin in the first place, Takeda does have telekinesis.
