LMAO, Braveheart.
I laughed more than I should have.
I laughed more than I should have.
Says the dude who only has had one post *strokes beard in a suspicious manner*
can MOD please delete this thread? its stupid and made just to try aggravate all the other people on the forum. it serves no other purpose than that.
Absolutely nothing to do with this thread
^ Was directed at Nasty Freak btw
I don't think the thread should be removed. Its just the dude's opinion. I see him as a troll because he is whining about stupid shit like color palletes and stiff animation. Blowing it way out of proportion. Though I do agree with him on some points of the dlc argument, the rest for the most part is purely flaming. As someone already pointed out, all he does is bash. Not that he shouldn't be able to, but don't expect people to take your shit seriously when you're a dick 53 out of 54 posts
Why is this even in the Injustice forum? It should be a topic in the Video games forum titled ''Death to all DLC''.
Firstly, do people not notice this game is little more than an MK9 clone sans gore? The juggle happy gameplay, the mannequin-stiff animations, cookie cutter roster (despite the vast differences in the various superheroes being portrayed), drab colour palettes, Wii wand compatible L/R bumper supers et al. There's little new here other than fan service; which itself was done in MKvDCU; and we all know how that gore devoid 'MK game' went down with 'discerning' fans. Why the interest in this game? For the canned environmental interactivity? (...which will likely be snubbed by 'hardcore' players; if such a demographic even applies to a game like this). For the sausage centric roster of bromos? For the cut-scene super moves activated by mashing the bumper buttons?? =/
Secondly, the so-called "DLC" this game seems to be beset with- it's all stripped content! Surely the gaming consumer hasn't become so inured, so ingrained, so brain dead to the obvious scam that pre-released DLC is in actual fact stripped content, foisted as DLC 'extras', have they? Isn't it kind of insulting to gamers that Netherregion Studios are so shameless in their 'Capcomness'?
Given what the product looks to offer, coupled with the unabashed DLC racketeering, how does this seeming re-skin / rehash garner any hype at all? Have gamer standards drop so low?? :???:
While I don't think removing the thread is necessary, the dude is a troll, flat outFair enough.
But I don't like people who automatically attack anyone as a troll and try to get their posts removed just because they don't agree with what they say. Not talking about you there.
"Casual consumers" are by very definition dopes... easily exploitable dopes. You don't 'convince' such people- you euthanase them. (...after you rip them off, of course)Chill out Braveheart. Unless you're able to convince the casual consumers that the dlc practices they care nothing about are evil, then our little uproar isn't going to soften any hearts
Not that would be funny! Then there'd be no doubt of how copy pasta el dante the game is. :top:I have an idea. How about having MK9 skins on DC characters as DLC. Harley Quinn dressed like Skarlet or Catwoman dressed as Mileena?
The truth stings, indeed. Just stop your ears and stand in line at the midnight launch in your spiffing Batty Man get-up, lemming. No one's forcing you to read these posts.can MOD please delete this thread? its stupid and made just to try aggravate all the other people on the forum. it serves no other purpose than that.
If the skins are so throw-away and meaningless, why even have the DC "skins" at all? Why waste the money on the licensing costs? Why not just call this MK9.5? I mean, the differences between the games in question is negligible and skins are, as you imply, irrelevant... right? And, of course, who cares how a game looks in motion. Might as well be a slideshow as long as it has the fan service...I see him as a troll because he is whining about stupid shit like color palletes and stiff animation.
Capcom-like dlc bullshit.
MK9 had disk locked content. Scorpion and Sub Zero's MK1 costumes are in the challenge tower and Sub Zero's spine rip fatality was shown in the Jax reveal trailer.
Therefor its easy to assume that the pre order incentives for Injustice will be on disc too. This includes the Red Son missions. Missions that are on your disc that you will have to pay for separately (I'm assuming). So yes, this affects more than just your character's fashion sense
I don't know, i guess I worded it wrong.
And for the record, I don't hate NRS. I just disagree with a lot of their decisions. MK9 is my second favorite MK game of all time, hell, I bought it twice. That doesn't mean I can't point out, what I perceive to be, the flaws.
I... I don't know what to say...You aren't convincing anybody that this is MK9 with DC characters. We already know it is, the damned team itself said it in an interview.
Get back to me on that after you've seen the exact same canned cut-scene super 1000 times. Some of the Supers are lame, I will give you that. Doomsday's is not one of them. Space or not, him smashing them through the earth and back is hilarious. The animation is perfectly fine to me.
He touched my scrub. Now it's aroused.Where did Ed Boon touch you?
If that's how you feel then you're a consumer sap first and a gamer second.Yeah, I know what was on disc in MK9, and I didn't have a problem with it. Same with Injustice. These are very minor non-important things.
Yeah, I know what was on disc in MK9, and I didn't have a problem with it. Same with Injustice. These are very minor non-important things. When you are getting 2 costumes per person, and some with a 3rd. As well as 240 missions...I just don't see how this is considered "Capcom bullshit". All those games I listed above, those were in-game items/skins/missions etc. as well. It is nothing new, nor is it unique to NRS. It's standard gaming practice these days. What Capcom did with the characters on disc, then selling them as DLC, plus all the alternates that they went on to sell for $2 a piece only giving eachc haracter in the game only 1...that's the kind of stuff I relate as Capcom BS.
This pre-order stuff is par for the course. NRS packs their game full of content, and takes out potential 3rd/4th skins for a few characters, as well as a fatality/set of missions, to get people to pre-order. So as long as you pre-order, you get most of the content. Absolutely no harm in pre-ordering. If I go pre-order from Gamestop, i'll have those 3 skins and 20 missions. Regardless, it'll all go up as DLC a couple of months later. For a whopping $5(8 outfits and 3 fatalities for MK9).
The difference?
Capcom took stuff out JUST to sell as DLC. Not as a pre-order bonus, but with the intent to charge fans, nickel and diming them for a second attire.
