MK 9 will sell how many?

Dont think this been posted b4 or lately. This game is looking better every time I see something new and all the buzz surrounding it, so how many copies do you think MK 9 will sell? I mean MK vs DC sold over a million unit and that game suck but then again I know some comics fans who only bought it because of DC and not MK. If it wasn't band in Aussie land it would sell even more.

I predict 10 million
 
I hope sells well, pretty well, in order to make NRS team , Ed Boon and WB all happy people, and so, they start to think about doing a great sequel : MK2 , in 2012 !! :)
 
idk number wise but i think this game is going to sell great ! i went to gamestop yesterday and there whole store was coverd in mk adds its awesome!

ehhhh, I highly doubt there will be that many sales come holiday season. Most people will have it by then. Had it been released a lot closer to the holidays, yeah, but like 7 months before.....don't think it will be anywhere near 5M.

A sequel is concrete, imo.

The story is really good (I have read some spoilers) and the gameplay is very good as well...
WB didn't buy NRS for just one game.
 
Just to let you guys know, MK vs DC sold 2 million, not 1 million and that game sucked, I predict this game to gain a lot of new fans of the MK series not to mention a lot of people including myself are going to make the transition from Marvel vs Capcam and SF to Mortal Kombat. I predict MK will sell a minimum of 3 million. I also predict the next MK in the series will sell 4-5 million after MK gets its reputation back. What do you guys think of my estimate.
 
Remember, this is the comeback game, and MK still has yet to be taken as seriously as Street Fighter. This game will have excellent word-of-mouth plus it will please the fanbase and then some, and will make way for a explosion in sales with the sequel; MK10 will be the huge seller, MK9 will be the decent seller.

MK9 will be a great seller, MK10 will be an incredible seller.

Remember MK vs DC had comic fans buying the game too for DC characters but I think at least 5 million if not close to 10 when it's all said and done. The sequel will be huge if pple love this game and they do the same thing. Yea not only will old school MK fans buy it but it will get Sf and other fighting games fan in to it

Meh if I were to guess, 3-6 million within the first 7 months of launch. This will give the creators the inspiration and the incentive enough to guarantee a MKII launch. This announcement will convert any MK hater to an MK fanatic.
