If you saw the end credits scene at the end of The Avengers, it hinted at Thanos (The Mad Titan) being the villain for Avengers 2, anyways.
the guy who created thanos expressed that he didnt get payed in order to use him in the film. over the last year it was reported thanos would be in both guardians of the galaxy and avengers 2. now ive seen reports saying itll be the collector and ronan for guardians
so far all i know is villain wise quick silver and witch got confirmed from weadon. also quick silver is in days of futres past and there will be 2 different versions and actors
also in order to be used in avengers both witch and silver cant be deemed mutants or related to magneto.
i guess both marvel and fox owns those charachters
Trash, will not be seeing this movie now that my beloved Loki is not in it.
Regardless, the point was that it was apparent (at least to me), that Loki wouldn't be in Avengers 2, given that end credits scene.
It seemed obvious that they didn't trust him.
When did Whedon confirm Scarlet Witch and Quick Silver?
Marvel has done nothing (movie-wise) to hint that those 2 universes (Avengers and X-Men) will collide any time soon.
Even if they own both of those characters, having them randomly appear in a movie without prior context doesn't really make much sense.
but but its got the incestious brother and sister duo though
here ya go. current rumor for casting is the dude who played the lead in kick ass

also maybe marvel originally planned to have thanos in guardians wich is the next big group film before avengers 2 ( may 1 2015) but perhaps it got scrapped for something easier?
also note weadon originally had wasp in the first avengers movie draft but had to remove it since marvel wanted black widow instead.
wile we are on the subject about marvel films they just got the rights back to ghost rider, blade and daredevil so im hoping we get rumored born again dare devil film![]()
Cool, thanks.
It could be, but I don't think it's likely since Thanos first appeared in Iron Man #55 (Feb. 1973).
Thanos eventually returned to Earth seeking the Tesseract and formed an incarnation of Zodiac, and is defeated by the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, and remanded in custody by the Elders of the Universe.
If anything, he'd make an appearance in either Iron Man 4 or the Thor 2 movie before he appears in a Guardians Of The Galaxy movie.
Since Iron Man 4 won't have Robert Downey, it's more likely that he'll appear in a Thor movie, maybe Thor 2 or 3.
Remember, the Infinity Gauntlet was first seen in Odin’s Vault, in the first Thor movie.
Thanos and The Skrulls could be the villains in Thor 2 for all we know.
i really dont see a ironman 4 happening since rdj is currently demanding 100 million dollars to reprise his role as ironman

so far nothing else has been brought up about it
Who says that they HAVE to go with him???
As much as I'd hate to see it ever happen, it doesn't mean that the studio won't hire another actor.
The studio could very well reboot it, even though they shouldn't.
RDJ's contract was for 3 Iron Man films.
The point was, that Thanos could very well make a cameo in Thor 2 or even show up in Thor 3, to take his Infinity Gauntlet from Odin's vault.
Guardians Of The Galaxy isn't the ONLY option that he has of showing up.
eh well i guess we shall wait and see because why have both thanos and the bro and sis duo?
wouldnt that be kind of over kill ?
Isn't Bane, Catwoman and Talia al Ghul an overkill too?
It could work.
The Siblings are tied more to Avengers than X-Men just saying.Regardless, the point was that it was apparent (at least to me), that Loki wouldn't be in Avengers 2, given that end credits scene.
