Nothing really new but it was a fun read.

Couple of things I picked up from it though. He pretty much confirmed without confirming that there will be more than 4 DLC characters. A second season pass maybe?

We weren't going to have a DC game without Superman, Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman. You have to have Luther, you have to have Joker. All these guys. That kind of fills up 60 - 75% of the cast. And then you start getting into the more obscure ones like Penguin, Lobo, and other ones like that. It becomes more about which ones we can fit into the story, which ones DC wants.

Did he just accidentally out Penguin as DLC?
 
Penguin is only acceptable if he's voiced by Danny DeVito, but other than that, he's an awful character and needs to be kept in the Arkham Asylum transition and thats it.

Lobo, on the other hand, would be godlike. And I'm still waiting on my Firestorm DLC, god damn it.
 
I wouldn't read much into it, Boon also said "Lobo, Red Hood, Supergirl, Power Girl..." in the first DLC reveal during the battle arena finale.

Sadly Danny DeVito has passed away :(
 
Penguin would be awesome, as long as NRS doesn't rely much on Arkham City's version. Give him the umbrella with blades, bullets, gases, flamers, hypnosis, helicopter propeller and the (robo)penguins. If it fails use judo. And the funny walking style for laughs, seeing him own Supes would be priceless. There are never too many hidden gadget users.

But after seeing him in Arkham transition I don't really expect him or anyone else from the bunch. They are not Doomsday or Manhunter who you can just remove without anyone noticing.

EDIT: But I don't see what that statement has to do with DLC. Even the main roster consists of the must haves with plenty of obscures. I guess Lobo didn't make it in the main roster because he would stick out from everyone else (plus money potential of course).
 
So the dlc is gonna work more or less the same as last time giving away free costumes? Oh dear I hope they don't do a guest character.

Off course there will be ing guests if Freddy was the biggest selling DLC the greedy s.o.b.s.

But who is the question! The only people I could see fitting into the game are a follows:

HULK HOGAN

Yes the Hulk Himself! Towering at nearly 7 feet tall and stronger than 10 Doomsdays this behemoth could slide effortlessly into the world of Hawk Women and Clown Princes of crime. His big boot would make an incredible anti air which could be followed up by a full combo of a body slam and an earth shattering leg drop with appealing to the crowd to KO his enemies and win the fight. Unfortunately he would be so overpowered, an instant backlash and nerf would be demanded plus legal wranglings concerning his name would almost certainly stop this giant terrorizing Injustice

Arnold Schwarzenegger

My Olympia, box office sensation, politician. It almost writes itself. Ask yourself what isn't super about the Austrian Oak? Even the man himself would be good enough to grapple with the cast of Injustice, but under the guise of DC Villain Mr Freeze, NRS would surely be clutching at straws for reasons not to include him. As a Subzero clone, every time he performs a special move he would recite classic lines from (arguably) his greatest role since Hercules in New York. Hearing Arnold say "Freeze" to the army of Deathstroke players in the world would almost certainly put a chill on cry's for a Deathstroke Nerf.

So guys do you agree? I think these characters would make wonderful additions to the Injustice roster and instantly add mountains of value to any players season pass.

A guest in this game wouldn't bother me as much as it did in MK since DC is all about mixing series and whatnot.
 
Only guest character I'd ever be interested is Cobra Commander, but since GI Joe started out under Marvel (later IDW) and Hasbro, I doubt that would ever happen.
