He should be even bigger (on the right):We're so used to see him as a huge monstrocity, that people tend to forget that he's just a human filled with muscle-enhancing chemicals...
Most people expect to see him like this:
Now that's what I'm talking about. Looks like he can shoulder press the entire Injustice cast, say "this is cardio for me", and then move on to his normal workout.

Realism and realistic is not the same though.
Realism is mimicking how things appear as in real life. The opposite would be cartoony.
Sure, a man can fly and shoot lasers out of his eyes... but if a man could do that IRL, how would it look like? That's realism.

Realism is a noun, realistic is an adjective. Both have exactly the same meaning. Realistic is not the opposite of cartoony, unrealistic is the opposite.
What matters in "realism" is the context. Simulators are realistic because they, like you said, imitate real experiences. A video game that has a "man flying around shooting lasers" is not realistic, it's fantasy. That's like saying, if pigs would fly and fart out nuclear bombs, that's how it would look like irl therefore is realistic! That's not at all how it works...

That scene there made me laugh. On the PC you could swap around the animations easily between characters. Imagine Batman or Aquaman doing that lmao

Well, so do I, and what I've said is not wrong.
When I spoke of realism, I did not mean what is possible IRL compared to a world of comic book superheroes. What I spoke of is how to make these supernatural beings with their supernatural powers appear in a way that would be believable in the real world.
That's what they strive for in the movies, for example. And also in these games, without making it look cartoony.

That's fantasy, not realism. If we go down to movies, a realistic movie would be a documentary. It shows you things as is. No room for fiction.
A fantasy movie would be a guy flying around and shooting lasers, even if it's based in "today's world". It's not being based on reality, hence being fantasy. Just go and google "Man of steel" or anything of sorts. What's the first word you see in its description? "Fantasy".
Cartoony is an artstyle, which is a stylized form of painting or drawing. As for realism: "Realism in the arts is the attempt to represent subject matter truthfully, without artificiality and avoiding artistic conventions, implausible, exotic and supernatural elements.".
So yeah, Injustice 2 has nothing to do with realism. Bring on Oil Tanker Bane.

I did reply to everything you typed, and explained it like an adult would to a child with learning disabilities. Btw, I don't give a f uck about how video game characters look like; I'm just taking the piss out of dumb logic and easily offended internet users.
