I'm trying to unlock the characters Ermac, Klassic Sub-Zero, and Mileena on UMK3. I know the codes. I found them online. But I don't know which button is which.

Is X=1 or O=4 ? I'm confused. Can someone tell me, please?

The Ultimate Kombat Kodes go in the following order, starting with the player 1 side and ending with the player 2 side:

HP-LP-BL-LK-HK-HP-LP-BL-LK-HK

I don't have any PS consoles, but looking at Google images, that'd translate to:

Square-X-R1 (or R2; whatever the hell block is)-O-Triangle

The number just represents how many times you hit each button.

HP = upper left-hand corner
LP = lower left-hand corner
HK = upper right-hand corner
LK = lower right-hand corner

Generally, this is the default setting for virtually every port of the arcade-era MK games, as this was the same button layout on the actual arcade cabinets, themselves, so for instance, HP would be square and LK would be X on the PlayStation consoles, as square is the button on the upper left-hand corner and X is the button on the lower right. This should be an easier way to remember these things.
