harrison ford replaces bruce willis for expendables 3!

Ah Harrison Ford...Remembered him in the Star Wars movies. Good times, but I think Bruce Willis would still be a better choice.

Bruce Willis' ego is out of control. I know he's having a bit of a career revitalization recently but it is getting to his head.

RDJ is probably playing hardball now or he's being greedy. But who can blame him every one and their mom and their grandma is going to see that movie.

RDJ can demand whatever he wants. He was the best thing about the Avengers, which is a vastly overrated film. Who else can really play Iron Man? Exactly.

If Sly wants to impress me, cast Liev Schreiber in an Expendables movie.

I think there was a thread about Mark Wahlberg wanting to be Iron Man but I feel the same way about Avengers. For me get me Wesley Snipes and Ryan Reynolds

"Greedy and lazy" was the phrase Stallone used in a public insult towards Bruce Willis and now we know part of the reason why. According to insider sources Stallone and Willis fell out over money after Willis demanded one million dollars a day for a four day shoot on Expendables 3...

"A source with knowledge of the situation says the fallout was over a specific money demand. Willis was offered $3 million for four days of consecutive work on location in Bulgaria for the film. "He said he'd drop out unless he got $4 million," this source close to the production says. "A million dollars a day. Stallone and everybody else involved said no."

Stallone then quickly reached out to Ford, who was game to join the Expendables cast.

The insider adds, "I think [Willis] was pretty surprised he was replaced in 72 hours by Harrison Ford — a better actor, a much nicer person and a more interesting direction for the film."

Willis' reps at CAA declined to comment."

2 or 3 days ago willis stated he was tired of action roles. kinda funny if you think about it since thats how he started out

synopsis

In THE EXPENDABLES 3, Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables — but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.

Well, then, f*** him.

I love 90% of Bruce Willis' action films and he's one of my top favorite action stars, but if he's going to act like a douche, then let someone else do it who would gladly do so with a smile on their face, and actually still enjoys the business of making action films.

Harrison Ford loves his job as an actor, loves doing action films, is humble and he's a great actor.
Welcome aboard Mr. Ford. :marchmellow:

i have to say i was never a big bruce willis fan. i just find it funny this guy hates doing action movies and yet he does em. same with jom carrey ( who i like) and his whole thing about doing kick ass 2 and not promoting it do to political reasons. my attitude is if someone feels that strongly about something dont take the role its that simple. i mean shit man im anti gun myself but after what he did nobody will hire him because he refused to promote

The Jim Carrey situation is slightly different as he had already SHOT his parts (no pun intended) in the Kick-Ass movie BEFORE the school shooting took place.
I do agree though, that Jim's reasons for not wanting to promote the movie were bullshit, but that's another story.

EDIT:
Oh, and studios will still hire Jim Carrey, regardless, because he's Jim Carrey.
With BIG Hollywood stars, the studios will give them a slap on the wrist and say "Bad, Jim. Bad, Jim." and they'll hire him when they want him for a role.

but would you hire someone after they refused to promote the film he was in? come on now. there are reports going around he may be carnage for ams 5 and i hope not because as a fun actor carrey is how can he play someone when he himself is anti violence?

if jim carrey felt so strongly about the sandy hook thing why didnt he donate his check to the families? he kept it dude the man is a hypocrite.
