i wish there friendship ... i am using it as a personal story between the characters of LOVE ( friendships ) and HATE ( fatality )
 
It would be cool to have friendships, we don't have to use them, but it's good to know that they are accessible.
 
Already said Friendships werent in MK9. Hinted that babalities were tho

dont take everything Ed boon says as sermon.

Haha. When did he hint that babalities were in it, and why is that any different from this 'hint'? That would be stupid if babalities were in it, while friendships were not - Babalities are the same thing for everyone, while friendships have some variety at least.
 
I would love to see friendships return, but they would only take away focus from the gameplay itself.
 
Friendships would be great in this game. It's a good choice after you just pummeled some chump in the 'arcade' style waiting rooms. Kind of like saying "you thought you had a chance? LOL. Back of the line, bud."
I suppose babalities have the same effect, but i've always liked friendships more because they were character unique.
 
It'd be great to see character specific friendships. Like Jax doing something for Sonya, Sub-zero for scorpion, Mileena for Kitana, Kitana for Sindel, etc. And also friendships for weird pairs too, Baraka and Kung Lao, Nightwolf and Cyrax... Friendship?? Keep it WEIRD!!

not even close. Babalities are very humiliating, especially in UMK3 when to do one, you couldnt block. So if you could win without blocking, its can prove alot more superiority.

I cant remember the article or interview, but it was very much hinted it would be Babalities that return

Teabagging has nothing on Babalities.
 
Maybe Boon is changing his mind on including Friendships also? They have plenty of time and are continuously adding stuff in. Just the other day, Boon said that he added more pit-style stage fatalities, which he says are the best yet. So anything can be added or taken out until we see the final version.
 
I used to love friendships and have kind of wanted them in the new game but if there not in the game I will be happy with that. During the GameSpot Stage Demo at E3 Ed Boon said that there weren't going to be any friendships but the tweet is misleading.

Then it sounds like he's right where he wants to be. He wants to create rumors about hidden features. I'd say he's done a pretty good job with friendships for now. If he doesn't make any more comments on them, come march we'll all be searching around to see if he did in fact confirm them.
 
nooooooooooo!!! no friendship's !, come on.. i know they're goin old skool... but it would be so gay to do now, friendships were the beginning of mortal kombat going all camp on us with all the lame humour , its not funny, nor fun.



nor babilities..
