Kevin Tancharoen has revealed the first picture of Scorpion from the upcoming MK Webseries!

Oh my god, that looks so sick... Not feeling the tail thing on his mask and i wished his mask was yellow and no long sleeves, but otherwise, it looks brilliant.

Same here. He looks too much like those japanese ninjas, and the yellow part ends up looking out of place. But hey, at least he's a ninja, not a doctor who went insane or something...
 
I think he looks ****ing sick, love the design mainly because it doesnt look incredibly cheezy like all the other MK adaptations
 
kinda hard to see, but I love seeing how they went for a simplistic and humble costume. No flashy ninja suit.
 
Yeah I really like his costume, not perfect but much better then I thought it might have been! Nice scenery too...
 
That Might not be a tail. Might be a sword?

All and all i'm not liking this at all. Doesn't seem to fit in well with the modern image of Sonya. Maybe this is a flashback hearkening current events or issues in the present. Thinking this might be before he kills sub-zero or before he is killed by sub-zero.

I doubt its a sword because we would be able to see it since its going down diagonally to the right. And dude, keep in mind that theyre not following up on the Rebirth project, this is a new project altogether due to Tanchaoren saying he wants to stay as close to the games as possible. So it could work.
 
This probably is a flashback scene of him and Sub Zero or whatever... the clothes look very loose and he looks kinda scrawny, probably him younger.
 
so we might actually get to pretty much see a movie following the game's story with gory fight scenes. I'm actually psyched for this now.
 
Man this scene is totally insane. I love how they are portraying Scorpion. What are you guys talking about? He looks amazing. Bad as background image. Defiantly looking like he is trying to find Sub-Zero. Man today is shaping up to be a good day. Got some pics of Scorpion, got info that Mk is getting a demo in 5 days, and we still have a character reveal. Not mentioning that the Call Of Duty map pack, First Strike comes out today. Wow... I am tired...LOL
 
Ya, for a ninja he looks WAY too ninja-ish. His left butt cheek is a little bigger than his right one and he should be throwing gang signs everywhere he goes.

The webseries design sets his character apart from that games yet ties him to them at the same time. I love the fact that he looks like a ninja. After all, he IS a ninja. I'm also very glad to see he looks nothing like the putrid ass barf that was the Mortal Kombat movies! This will be the year of MK!
