The <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/03/24/kratos-vs-mortal-kombat-ed-boon-and-stig-talk-shop/">PlayStation Blog sat down with both</a> <b>Ed Boon</b> and <b>The Stig</b> to discuss Kratos being included in <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_9/">Mortal Kombat (2011)</a>.

Sorry that was a joke, Ed Boon didn't sit down with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Stig">The Stig from Top Gear</a>, though that would be a funny one way conversation. Instead he sat down with <a href="http://www.giantbomb.com/stig-asmussen/72-42647/">God of War III director Stig Asmussen</a> to discuss the creative process involved behind putting Kratos into the game.

Especially don't miss the great little "FAQ" area at the end of the article where they answer common Kratos questions like if <b>Kratos has an ending</b>, <b>Kratos's Stage Details</b> as well if he can <b>take part in Test Your Might</b>. Also "Friendships" are also mentioned in passing?

One the screens in the article shows a pretty detailed shot of Ermac's alt, even though he's flopping on his back.
 
Yes, Kratos has a stage. And yes, it has a stage fatality. “It has the best stage fatality we’ve put into any Mortal Kombat game ever,” Boon said excitedly without further elaboration

We don't yet, it could just be an example he used as people would easily understand the context. It's nothing remotely close to actually confirming that, but interesting to note none the less.
 
Hmmm looks like he ends up using the blade of olympus in his fatality. I was hoping he would swing his blades and cut off the opponents head like he does with the barbarian in GOW cut scenes.

Jaffe > Stig

Seriously i was disappointed in GOW3 when i heard what Jaffe wanted to do with the series, as far as the story goes. But otherwise GOW3 is awesome.

OMG, this is SO incredibly awesome. This is the GREATEST CROSSOVER EVER! It's PERFECTION.

I actually pity XBox owners that will miss out on this at this point.

Kratos is the shiz! I'm so stoked to play as him in MK. Can't wait to see the stage fatality!
 
Oh my look at Boon's smile in those photos with the PS logo in the back. They must have given him a lot of money after all haha

how in the hell did they make such a horrible mistake!!!! those friendships better have some kind of sick twist... like cyrax makes a bomb out of a doll and gives it to the other fighter!
