There is a lot of talk that the red leg may be Skarlett a rumored character that dates back to MK2. If this is true do you think that is a good thing or a bad thing?

Im indifferent. I dont know her, really. She's not a real character apparently. But if NRS wants to make her an official character then that is fine. Just know that if she is in as a secret somewhere, I wont be jumping through rings of fire trying to discover how to unlock her. I'll let you guys do that!

I think if she is in she should only be a secret over powered character that you can fight but never unlock. If they can flesh out her character as a secret character then they can introduce her in the next game much like Jade, Reptile, Smoke and Nood Saibot.

I wouldn't mind her on the main roster. Since we are getting Quan Chi, who is post MK3, I don't think a new character is going to kill the "original 26" roster, especially since the likes of Kenshi, Shinnok, Rain and Tanya were already mentioned as DLC potential. Now I've read the Game Informer magazine, and since Goro, Shao Kahn, and possibly Shang Tsung are not playable (note I said possibly since they are using MK1/old Shang Tsung), I believe that leaves room for other characters.

04. Nightwolf
05. Sektor
06. Johnny Cage
07. Reptile
08. Kung Lao
09. Sonya
10. Kitana
11. Cyrax

That leaves three open spaces (if Shang Tsung/other boss characters are not playable). So it very well may be that Skarlett and potentially two other characters that previously have not made it into the series (Tremor, Hornbuckle, etc...) just may make it in. Especially since Rain as well as others were announced as DLC.

are you crazy? I like Reiko a lot, but I think you like him to much if you even think he would be in the original list over Noob Saibot.
On topic: You need the "As DLC" in the poll. I would have picked that option.

You need to count again because you left out three characters and some would say three of the best. You missed Sektor, Kano and Noob Saibot. So no room for Skarlett on the main screen the way I see it.
I was slower than you guys but I knew that there was three missing and I had to find out who it was. Sektor, Kano and Noob Saibot.

Unless they upped the character roster to 28, which we are still not sure if they did because we haven't seen actual people playing the game or the menu screen for a long time.

I think if they added slots then Rain would have been in with out a doubt but since there is only 26 some one had to be left out for Quan Chi. Don't you think that he would have got in over any one else since he is in UMK3?
Where is the confirmation that Stryker and Smoke is in the game? The sound bytes does not count as confirmation. Pictures or Magazine articles would count as a valuable source when stating a character is confirmed.

24. You forgot Kano. MK1 debut fighter. Was a "Greatest Hit" in MKDC. He aint goin no where no time soon
25. Noob is a part of the era and he does have a lot of fans. that means he is 99.9% in

I really dont think a unofficial character like Skarlett would make it on such a throwback, classic select screen on day 1.
