Going to keep the thread for TDKR on it's own until the talk dies down, then I will merge it.

For now, please keep all TDKR discussion in that thread. This thread is for discussion related to the other Batman films <3

I liked Batman Forever! One of the first big movies I saw in the theaters! Also saw Batman and Robin in theaters as well, but Batman Forever sticks out more vividly.

I want to rewatch 89' Batman soon.

I need to see Batman Returns. Is it any good?

I enjoyed Batman Forever but I HATED Two-Face in that movie. He felt like he was trying to be the Joker.

I LOVED Batman and Robin as I kid. I hate it now

Bat nipples

I don't think I saw Batman (1989 version) in the theatre (if I did, I was 5, so I don't remember at all), saw Batman Returns multiple times in the drive thru, never say Batman Forever in theatres, saw Batman and Robin in the theatre (what a fecking waste of my life), and saw Nolan's trilogy in theatres.

My favorite Batman movie of all time is Batman Returns <3 I have all the movies on DVD (even the 1966 movie).

Hardest for me to watch are Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. Batman Forever, because they made the Riddler look ghey (his outfit was awesome, just reeeeeeeeally hated his pink hair and make up, that is just stupid), and Batman and Robin because it was just one pile of shit movie from start to finish.

Did anyone else ever notice that, all of a sudden, Batman and Robin's suits were silver and black (like Batgirl's) by the end? How stupid.

Dude, Batman Returns is my favorite Batman movie, it is AWESOME. Michelle Pfeiffer is the greatest Catwoman to ever live and Michael Keaton is the greatest Batman to ever live.

Also Danny Devito as the Penguin and his weird hands in the leather gloves.

I also remember Catwoman and her line about not using her name so much or you will wear it out, something like that. Batman Returns was great!

My husband said he hated the original show earlier today.

I shall ignore him for some time now.

I used to watch the old show every morning at 6am before school <3

Burgess Meredith is the best Penguin ever. I hate the Penguin but he made him likeable. Danny DeVito was a good Penguin as well but Burgess was the man.

Plus, Frank Gorshin, YAY RIDDLER

Oh yeah, for those who don't know, Michael Gough, who was Alfred in the Burton Batman movies, died last year, age 94 :(

I remember when he passed last year....

But yeah I would always watch the 60's Batman show everyday before school. The theme song is permanently burned in my mind.

I love that theme and the Batman/Batman Returns theme.

The best song ever, though, is Kill Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me from Batman Forever, but this dude on youtube did a better video using The Dark Knight <3

You can also click on this guy's Batman Begins tribute done to Seal's Kiss From a Rose. It's pretty good as well. Not as good as the above, though <3

Have to admit, I really loved that song by U2. One of my favorites by U2. And whenever Kiss From A Rose comes on the radio I sing a long...awesome soundtrack!

I love batman returns.

seriously look at this.

just very gothic and cold. This was burton at his finest, now he's watered down and only uses depp.
But enough about burton, Danny Devito was amazing in this movie. Just a story of a lost soul. This movie was the only time I ever felt sympathetic for a guy who's plan was to drown children in toxic waste. damn..

And the music is amazing. I love Nolan's movies alot, but this is the atmosphere that I loved the most and fit batman. This one and the 1989 one.

Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy was awesome. Chris O' Donnell is also hot. :)

lulz

I didn't mind Uma as Poison Ivy, she looked good in the role, but she would have been way better if she didn't have the cheesy lines and was a lot more serious.

Looking back on Batman and Robin, they actually made Barbara's last name Wilson, not Pennyworth, like Freyith's friend thought (understandable mistake, though, because they made Barbara Alfred's niece instead of making her Barbara Gordon, daughter of Commissioner Gordon).

Such an awful movie....also, the dude who played Bane was a wrestler. He's dead now.

I never liked Chris Odonnel's Robin. I mean he was ok in Forever I guess, but I think Batman and Robin ruined him for me. In Batman Forever you at least care about his backstory some, I thought it was decent enough. But he has no purpose other than to whine like a b!tch in Batman and Robin.

If theres anyone who served as a true "sidekick", it was Gordon in Nolan's films. He's a badass and deserves more reconition.

well, at least one good thing came from Batman And Robin

the excessive neon and weird angles of the movie are finally put to a good use.

Also, I always found it odd that Alfred and Gordon are the only characters that had the same actors portray them from the 1989 film all the way to batman and robin. Hurt to see alfred in there at the end. He didnt really fit anymore after seeing him in the first 2 films. They gave him some bullshit story with him being sick and they had to get the cure from Mr Freeze. He was ok in Forever though.
