this thread is pretty much anything bond related. the movies, the games, anything. like whats your favorite bond movie? whats your least favorite bond move? what did you like about the bond movies? what didnt you like about them?

ok first, i hope that skyfall will be a big improvement in the series because the last great bond movie imo was goldeneye.

It was the first Bond movie I ever saw and I loved it.

you didn't like casino royal?

I mean I had huge doubts as well. But I was forced to watch it by friends. And I actually enjoyed it. The sequel after however... for some reason felt far less deep.
 
casino royal was alright, but it was too much of a drama. like i understand the word casino is in the title but they took that way to seriously. like bond was just at the casino sitting around for like half the movie.

my opinion is that they need to drop all this personal drama crap and make another good bond movie like goldeneye or license to kill.

@jade: good choice. goldfinger is one of my favorites.

Goldeneye64 is one of the best games ever.

Playing multiplayer and throwing mines in the facility bathroom stall is awesome when they die and have to restart in the shaft.

I was a dick in that game.

I memorized all the spawning points and would throw a proximity mine on them. I'd get 1 kill. Then after that I'd guarantee me 10x more kills because they'd spawn ona proxy mine.

I love the Man With The Golden Gun mode on Goldeneye 64. It's great how it forces those without the golden gun to work together, but once that gun is up for grabs it's back to a free-for-all.
 
Sean Connery gets points for being the original, but Pierce Bronson is my favorite. I dont know, he just fits bond the best to me. His movies werent always the greatest though. Older movies have him beat there, but as an actor playing Bond he's my favorite. Goldeneye move is flawless though. But man the golden gun is one of the best. Cant beat christopher lee

Yes. Not so much so the single player. I want Nintendo to put the ORIGINAL N64 Multiplayer online, so we can all battle it out and start having fun. Unfortunately this will go on deaf ears. Microsoft OWN James Bond with some rights going to Nintendo (to make a long story short)

I can see where you get that. Pierce has this "class" feel to him. That matches what I would expect from Bond. He just kinda sucks at the action IMO.

funny cuz the "new" bond guy. I don't know his name. Is like the opposite. He's not that classy IMO he doesn't have the same aura. Infact I want to say it feels more like a ****y douche aura. But enough of that. He's good at the action scenes but lacks the class that Pierce had.

Daniel Craig is alright, but lacks the swave of Bronsen, or most of the bonds. I like him and his movies, but his movies are more dark and realistic and thats why he fits. But that aint calssic bond everyone loves though
 
lol, anyone who thinks Daniel Craig's Bond sucks has never read a 007 novel. He is the closest to the Bond in the books than any of them.
 
haha alot of people talk shit about daniel craig as bond, but im guessing when the next bond actor comes along theyll be praising craig.

oh and about the goldeneye game on n64, i remember putting proximity mines on the ammo boxes, then grabbing the ammo boxes, then there would be an invisible bomb on the next box youd go boom if you touched it. good times that game brought.

he's kinda boring, but not bad at all. He does his job. Dont see why people would talk shit about him.

and Roger moore played bond for too long. By the last few few movies he was in, he didnt even have any enthusiasm in the gun barrel intro.
He's all like "yep I'm here again"
 
ahaha i hate roger moore. hes got to be my second LEAST favorite bond next to lazemby. he should have quit after moonraker or they should have just looked for someone a few years younger instead of picking moore.

has anyone played "from russia with love" on ps2/xbox/gamecube? it was the best bond game since goldeneye at the time.

I remember seeing this game, you could fly around in a jetpack. Seems like one of those games that could have been really good and famous, but it kinda dissapear so I guess it wasnt that good. But I havnt played it so I dont know.

I've kinda just ignored every bond game for a long while now, I just assumed they were bad. The last one I played was Goldeneye Rouge Agent. It was mediocre, but it had alot of refrences to the movies. And the maps were pretty cool. Still though, it doesnt even deserve to share the name Goldeneye. And Activision can go **** themselves for making Goldeneye Reloaded

I'm just talking "Specifically" his "Class" feel. Which to me is mostly non-existent. And I'm just saying that was one of the things I liked about Bond was that class he brought on the screen.

I mean didn't I just mention that I liked casino royal?

I pretty much think the same thing

But after Craig is done, what will they do next? Get someone like him, or get someone with a different personality?
