I made these screen captures from the very first official trailer to the movie "300". There are 44 stills taken off the 1020p HD video. This movie looks simply awesome! I can't wait. Dialup users beware. Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite.

Yes it is coming out in the U.S. early next year. Actually, it's being released the same month as God of War 2. A good month for me in other words. Lol. 1080, yeah my bad, M.D. Immortal Reaver, that guy with the chrome looking mask is the general of King Xerzes "Elite Immortals", there are 10,000 of them and they are the kings finest and best fighters. Without spoiling the premise or any of the plot. Let's just say that even though Xerzes army is massive [in the millions]. They are nowhere the fighting machines that the Spartans are. The Immortals are sent in and suffer very heavy losses at the hands of King Leonidas's men. One of those masks was up for auction not too long ago. They do look cool.

This is based on actual and real events that took place over 2000 years ago. Did you guys watch the trailer fully in HD? If not, then I recommend it and crank the volume! Also, note the charging heavily armoured battle Rhino in the 12th last picture!

I just saw the trailer and I don't know why I held off from seeing it when it first came out. It looks real good!

Pawns, hahaha:mrgreen:

As confusing as it looks, this movie seems to me like a God of War/Sparticus adventure. Sure, Miller tanked with scripts for Robocop 2 and 3, but Sin City is a phenomenal movie. i trust him.

I have high hopes that this movie will do very well. I recall when I first saw the Gladiator trailer roughly 6 years ago [damn 6 yrs already]. And I was like...

OMGZ I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!

I am in much the same mood as back then.
