God Of War Help

I need help on GOW. I'm in Athens and I'm in the rooftops. I'm in the place where you prees R2 and you say you need to get across. The man on the other side says he cant because he is afraid of monsters eating him or something. I then went to the ladder back down the building I was on. I then started fighting more monsters. What now? Please help.

You need to get the power of Zeus lightning bolts to shoot that dumbass over the other side of that temple. That is the only way to get accross, dude. I play this game alot, so hit me up for any questions you may have. Have you got the power of Zeus yet?

Re: God Of War Help

Jinko said:
Doea that mean i have to upgrade that move or something? To lvl 2?

Some minor spoilers if you dont mind?

At the moment you should have 2 powers, medusas stare and Poseidons rage. The 3rd special power you get is Zeus lightning. Upgrading is done on every power you aquire, dude. I recommend this order, max out your blades of chaos [level 5] Then max out your army of Hades [last power you get] Remember, the best and shortest combo you can do that will drive back even the bigest enemies is "SQUARE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE" thats called the plumes of prometheus [very effective even against bosses] its quick and powerful!

As for geting the lightning powers, read this,

Before going through the door that you just smashed open, climb up the ladder
that the lever brought down and get the chest containing red orbs. Pull open
the door at the upper right as well to find a multicoloured chest. Now head
through the door in the centre and follow the path to find another of the many
gods. He grants you the magic power Zeus' Fury. Head through the door that
Zeus blocked previously and cross the bridge. While standing on the bridge
with Zeus' Fury equipped you can hold down the L2 button and press square to
fire lightning bolts at the archers in the background. Destroying all of them
opens up the door that had the red forcefield before down the hall to the
right of where you came out of the Zeus door. Through there is a large room
with a crumbling wall at the top end, break down this wall to find three
chests containing magic refill, a Gorgon Eye and a Phoenix Feather. Head back across the bridge and make a right at the fork, save your game here.

Head up the ladder to the roof again and jump across. You now have the
ability to kill those damn archers in the background and get all those chests
across the swinging part if you wish. When you're ready jump across and
return to the part where the guy wouldn't put the bridge across for you. Take aim with your Zeus' Fury and eliminate his face off. You'll find two chests

in the first room on the other side containing a Gorgon Eye and a Phoenix
Feather. Follow the path down the hall to the room at the end where you'll
find another two chests both with sashes of red orbs. Stand on the circular
button for a second to ride the elevator down to the area below. Start
running and as you cross the bridge a cutscene will occur. Balance your way
across the bridge support beam and save your game at the save point on the
other side. Ascend the stairs to the top where you'll need to fight your way
through a number of normal enemies. You can break a hole in the wall to
reveal a chest full of red orbs around here. Keep climbing the stairs until
you finally reach the Temple of the Oracle. Open the two chests here
containing green orbs and blue orbs then start to cross the bridge.

Very Early God of War 3 News!

Although God of War 2 is around half a year away still :-( Some very early and sketchy news on God of War 3 is available, It's not much I grant you, but nonetheless it's very exciting to read that David Jaffe will push this franchise as far as he possibly can. Go Dave! I drool over this franchise. Just ask 7th

God of War 3

With God of War 2 well-under way for the Playstation 2, its inevitable that chatter of a third game is beginning to surface, especially as the first game proved enduringly popular. Speaking in his personal blog developer David Jaffe noted that numero two was progressing well, or "very, very nicely," as he put it.

Jaffe added that he was very impressed with the level design the studio are currently play-testing, also promising that the art and music in the game will far better the second time around. He also added that an altogether grander plot should hold the second game together, a subject that seems to have sparked the possibility of a third game - completing a 'trilogy'.

And when you are making a game, you never really know if the game will turn out good enough to merit another one in the series. But after last week, I can say I am very confident of our chances to be able to complete the GOD OF WAR trilogy. You never know, but that's me just putting it out there. Jaffe's opus should be out towards the end of 2006, about the same time as the PS3 arrives, oddly. Indeed, any third-instalment in the God of War series would presumably be of the next-generation variety. More soon.

Re: Very Early God of War 3 News!

Re: God of War video i made!

I love it of course. Not only is that my favourite game but the song you have edited into your video is just perfect, man! Nice work and I have already watched it a total of 8 times. Btw, did you use those game demo files to compose your video?

15/10 [it's gow, so 10 is too low]
