mortal kombat movies CENSORED!!!!!!!!!

Well, you don't have to watch the censored version, either. Words like "bullshit" and "asshole" aren't allowed on TV in the US (with very few exceptions), so dialogue gets censored; that's just how it is. You can still buy the frigging movie uncensored, so what's the big deal?

Anyway, the only censored versions of it I've seen on TV just cut out the words as oppose to sticking in different lines.

That's why I said there are exceptions. Comedy Central has also allowed the word "shit" on South Park and airs a completely uncensored movie every saturday late at night. They've pretty much always been able to say "damn" on TV, though, that's nothing.

Don't forget that some stations also aired, "Scared Straight," completely uncensored. The censors' hands were tied, and I heard swearing that would've made sailors wash out those prisoners' mouths with soap. Except they couldn't clean the soap, afterward.

Anyway, MK being censored like that just kinda robs from the original script. My favorite line was Johnny Cage, after kicking Goro's ass. "Those were $500 sunglasses, asshole." Instead, we got, "You're really ugly." Those censors are killjoys, every last one of 'em.

Yeah, I remember that Scared Straight thing. I've found that they often won't censor stuff that has some sort of educational value.

god those redubs are awful, but USA would give FAR worse redubs. On BulletProof(adam sandler), they redubbed the word "turd" with "stuff" and "porn" with "movies" and "browse"
