Some may know I am a big Bond fan (Sean <3) so I was excited as to the announcement of who the new Bond would be.

Well.....It could have been worse. British actor Daniel Craig has been cast as the sixth Bond. He will make his debut in Casino Royale which is slated for a November 2006 release. He is the first blond Bond. Meh, I think he will do a good job. He is pretty unknown here in North America but he is quite popular in England. I can't honestly wait for the movie. For those who don't know Daniel Craig, here he is in another movie called Layer Cake already looking like Bond.

Umm, this post is probably irrelevant, but I think I'm the only one on this planet that thinks James Bond is t3h suck.

I just like classic Connery Bond. The rest are just....no. But I do have high hopes for the new one.
 
I can't see him as Bond, not to say he won't do a good job, but he'll just never be Bond to me. That's a spot only Connery or Brosnan could fill.
 
Well the British tabloids are ripping into him today, but I say give the guy a chance. I hope he dyes his hair brown though. He is from my home City of Chester so I wish him all the best. 8)
 
Craigg is fine actor, I think he can pull it off. The only good Pierce Bond movie was golden eye. My all time favorite remains Connery.
The Problem I had with Moore and Brosnan is that they weren't the James bond, Bond is supposed to be Cold and with a slight problem with alcohol and being a Player, They fit as players but not as cold spies.
 
This is that Bond movie they let another company produce and they used it as a chance to poke fun at Bond am I right? The worst one rated by the fans of Bond. You can understand why when you take that into account. Most say it should never have let happen.

Well I don't like Bond but it would be nice to see both verisons.

Just to the difference between how its suppose to be done... And how its not... :lol:
 
Yeah there was a spoof of Casino Royale which was actually Ian Fleming's first Bond novel, I believe. I've never seen it but appearently it's funny.


I only consider Connery as Bond. The rest just don't do it for me but Brosnan was ok.
 
Connery and Moore were the only guys who did Bond decently so far, but I saw Layer Cake shortly before Craig was announced to portray Bond and I must say, I'm quite excited to see how he'll do.
