Mortal Kombat 11 General Discussion Media Thread

Yeah, I think this is one of the biggest problems with MK games. Overblown rosters. Who is going to spend their time on 100 shitty, underdeveloped and unbalanced clones? Game needs less MUGEN compilation, more creativity.
 
Bizarrely, I quite like the idea of Nintendo's old Ice Climbers being added as DLC. I know it's ridiculous and it'd never happen and they'd feel so out of place, but I can see potential with the combination of ice, those massive hammers (you could add ice picks/axes too) and that chain thing that connects them - could be used for all kinds of moves/finishers.

Like I say I know it's weird but I reckon if you ramped up the gore with them and just went all-in, yeah, it'd be... inspired?
 
Unfortunately, with MK11 now being on all 3 platforms, I could see another guest taking up a main roster slot on each console, like Kratos in MK9.
I hope that I'm completely wrong, but I could see something stupid like that happening.
 
Reminds me of back in the Soul Caliber 2 days when PS2, XBox, and Game Cube each had exclusive guest character on their roster.
 
I doubt we will get console guest exclusives again like with Kratos. Not to mention, Nintendo has no M rated characters that would fit.

While she isn't an exclusive character, per se, Nintendo did have Bayonetta 2 as an exclusive on WiiU, IIRC.
She was pretty violent.

Anyways, again, while I don't want to see it happen, I have this eerie feeling that it could happen.

Fujin is like from a completely different game. If I would be asked to guess who this was without knowing the name prior, I'd say a new character.

People also thought the previous leak was "giant BS", and look how it turned out. I'd say it's around 50:50.
 
The description on a couple of Pasquali's designs state that it is a personal project . I doubt Drahmin will ever appear again outside of cameo appearances.

Interesting that Erron Black and D’Vorah aren’t on the roster since they were well received from fans.

I’m 50/50 with that leak.
 
Must’ve skipped him. Also if this is true that there no Supply Drops/Loot Creates. Everyone can breathe easy.

Frost is in the roster.... yeah. I will just wait for reveal. Way too good to be true.
 
The character list leak is from GameFAQs and claims it is from a software dev associated with NRS. I don't buy it until it is proven otherwise.
