Play without variation

Since this wasn't posted here yet I will do...
When you choose a variation just tap UP two times and then press Y/Triangle. Some seem to have a full moveset this way like Kitana.
 
That's not an 'all variation' version of the character, but a 'vanilla' variation; how you might find them in MK9.

A version of the characters with ALL their moves available is an unlockable that would really make the Krypt grind worth it...
 
Thanks for this! I didn't know about this. This might actually be useful for my Liu Kang because there is no variation that has the quick fireballs (dragons fire is slow because you can charge it) AND bicycle kick (flame fist has quick fireballs but no bicycle kick). Thanks :)
 
It's kinda a fun feature if you wanna play a character the vanilla way. Pretty neat. ^^
Also, it shows the costumes WITHOUT any of the Variation indicators. I quite like that.

I legitimately didn't know about this. Oh, glory day, finally I don't have to deal with Reptile's goofy visual indicators.
