Mortal Kombat storyline respecting the entire known canon

I wonder if MK11 will cover anything from the Edenian War set 10.000 years ago. From the games I put together this interpretation of the events that happened (respecting the canon in all MK bios and story, but totally adding!). In the story are Kitana, Shao Kahn, Taven, Daegon, Rain, Raiden, Shinnok, Jade, Quan Chi, King Jerrod-Ermac, Reiko, Drahmin, Sub-Zero, Havik, Hotaru, Smoke, Ashrah, Kintaro, Blaze, Tanya, Fujin, and a bit of Queen Sindel and Mileena.

CHAPTER 1: EDENIAN WAR

Edenia was the place containing the most knowledge in the Universe, where heirs from the races of saurians, seidans, enenras etc would be sent to study and master their powers over flying, elements, or mind reading. Edenians had an essence in the fruit of the enormous Tree of Life that grew in the middle of the Capital City, from which all babies were fed and which slowed their aging by a factor of 1000 once they reached maturity, giving them long lives and protection against diseases. They also had a continuous summer wind which ensured nights were warm and crops were rich all year long

Edenians didn't have written records but their knowledge was all available through a mental database accessible from everywhere and by everyone. Every image ever seen could be uploaded in the mental database and accessed as a projection. There's this whole tragedy vibe to Daegon. We know that his father was a god and his mother a sorceress. Argus and Delia, with the power given to them by the Elder Gods, were busy with watching over the realm, every day ensuring that the sun rises and sets (creating the planet's rotation), that the crops feed and the essence provides medical care for millions of inhabitants. They were the religious authority in Edenia.

So, Argus and Delia didn't raise their children themselves. As a baby, Daegon was entrusted to the royal family and King Jerrod took him in, the dragon Caro being assigned as his teacher, friend and mentor. With very long life spans, Edenians normally have a child every 20.000 years but after losing 9 MKs, a new generation of children is born in an subconscious effort for survival. Among them the Princess Kitana, daughter of King Jerrod and Queen Sindel, loved by all Edenians from birth, and the Protector God's second son, Daegon, meant to be strong enough to fight Shao Kahn. Earthrealm Gods Raiden and Fujin were friends of the Edenians and familiar with their ruling Houses and authority.

Because of tragic events in which his first wife died 1.000 years ago, Taven, the eldest son of Argus and Delia, had renounced his Edenian heritage and had been traveling the realms as a mercenary all this time, hating his parents and having lost his faith in the Elder Gods, only having his dragon Orin by his side as a voice of knowledge. He had been leading his own mercenary company of 20000 men, comprising warriors of different races, among which Enenra (Smoke ancestor), a young soldier Hotaru from Orderrealm, swordwoman sorceress Ashrah and shokan warrior Kintaro. They were the most expensive sellsword company as they were renowned for always winning in the realms of man.

So Kitana and Daegon grow up together in the rosy gardens of the royal palace where they learn to walk on water, glide in the wind jumping from the highest towers and ride Caro when no one is around to see them! She is at first shy to be around him, but he hides her secrets and covers for her when she runs away from her room and into the night to be alone by the Tree of Life, also resurrecting her singing bird pet with his life giving fire powers, though such a thing was forbidden in Edenia. Kitana sees him for the man he wants to become and falls in love with the child that he yet is. They climb the Tree of Life together at night and share secrets as children. Daegon swears to always protect the young Princess as he becomes skilled in both sword and combat, trained by the Prime General of Edenia himself. Kitana and Daegon develop a children's love, watching every morning from the palace garden how the God Argus, Daegon's father, creates the sunrise. Their love turns into an adolescent one, with them planning their first love night, but Daegon decides to only hold in his arms a naked scared Kitana, warming her body until morning. Edenia loses for the 10th time in a row and Shao Kahn's army enters the realm

With no highly trained military of Edenia to fight demons and Outworld creatures and no other alternatives, Argus and King Jerrod send a messenger, human Blaze, devout priest of Lady Delia's temple and long-time friend of Taven to bring him back to defend the realm. He tracks down Taven in a mortal realm where his company is engaged in a siege for mortal kings and, although the demi-god is reluctant to fight for Edenia once again, Blaze convinces him to return by offering his army the immortality of the Sacred Tree once Shao Kahn is stopped. The mercenary group made up of of ruthless warriors from different races steers controversy as they march onto the Edenian Capital's streets demanding coin, women and wine in exchange for their services. The arrogant Taven is hosted in the palace, leading the war council. He flirts with young curious Kitana and she is confused at the sight of this great warrior that all young ladies of her court dream of, including Tanya. Kitana and Taven feel an overwhelming lust for eachother. Daegon meets his brother who had been away from home for 1.000 years. Though Taven tries to ridicule Daegon at first, he warms up when he realizes his brother is truly good hearted and innocent and willing to sacrifice his life and godhood to protect the Edenians. He becomes the older brother Daegon always needed and gives the young man advice.

Enigmatic Rain (under his real name), who also loved the princess, was the only one who could match Daegon in the competitions, boosting his ego, as Daegon was a demigod. This status made Daegon ineligible to participate in Mortal Kombat to defend Edenia, but Rain was also refused participation despite his strong desire, not even him being aware that he was also a demigod. Rain was however not the product of infidelity, but that of dark magic a powerful demoness from the Netherealm (woman from Jade's ending) had conjured using his father's blood. Argus rescued the boy from the Netherrealm where he was forged and had faith that the taint of evil will disappear from him, took him to Edenia but trusted no one with the secret that the child was half god and half demonic. He instead made up the lie about his own infidelity and entrusted Rain to be raised by the loyal General. When the General died in the first counter-offensive against Shao Kahn's invading forces, orphan teenager Rain became part of the Edenian Resistance movement.

Rain without mask.jpg Rain dragging Kitana.jpg

In the Edenian Battle Games honoring his return, Taven, Rain and Daegon defeat hundreds of opponents from the 12 colonies of Edenia. All best warriors, military leaders, mercenaries and Edenians with the power over elements compete. Kitana wishes to compete too, but is too young. Rain loses in the semi-finals. Only the courageous good-hearted Daegon faces Taven in the final. Taven is reluctant to win, but the people of Edenia need to see him being a champion so they can be inspired for the coming War. The younger brother tastes failure for the first time and the crowd cheers for Taven, confident for the upcoming war. Fujin and Raiden witness this from the high stands as they offer advice to Argus and King Jerrod on how to defend themselves. The Earthrealm Gods are however forbidden to interfere in a War that is not their own

A kid called Jade no more than 14 years years old, who had no family and had been stealing from the rooftops of the Edenian Capital, becomes Kitana's handmaiden. She is cunning for her age and, at the princess' request, has her secretly trained into the arts of war and theft. The girls get along well and share secrets. Kitana tells Jade that she can't help being attracted to the strong warrior Taven. Jade facilitates a secret meeting between Kitana and Taven in a hidden part of the castle where they can't resist and end up kissing and sleeping together, although they both regret it afterwards. She wishes him to return safe from war as he departs, but says it was a mistake, feeling guilty towards Daegon

The souls of the dead in Edenia are not allowed to ascend to the Heavens anymore as Shao Kahn has the power to absorb them. A decade long war begins as Edenia refuses to fall, the greatest cities surviving long sieges under the wards of Argus as no portals of Shao Kahn can penetrate them, but suffer because the Emperor's armies are camped right outside their gates

index197.jpg Sheeva.jpg

Shao Kahn divides his forces in 3, each contingent being lead by an immensely powerful warlord: his Generals Reiko and Drahmin (before dying and becoming an oni) and the sorcerer aiding him in this War, Quan Chi (as this is around 9.000 years before the birth of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, even though was Shinnok's right hand, had a free hand in making alliances). The Emperor speaks from outside every city's gate and threatens to rape every man, woman and child who don't submit, but promises to give freedom and mastery over their own destiny and soul to all who join his army. Many Edenians express their desire to leave the under-siege cities and deflect to his camp. Among them is Tanya, who willingly relinquishes her body to the Emperor for a position of power. The Elder Gods don't interfere even when Argus begs them to, as the torments Shao Kahn causes to bodies or souls in the mortal world are finite to decades and therefore the realms don't suffer permanent damage. The Edenians perform a ritual to summon the terrifying Elder God Shinnok in a mortal body in Edenia for the first time in 100.000 years, but when he appears he offers cryptic advice, seemingly because the rules forbid him to directly interfere

images25.jpgReiko.jpg Quan Chi.jpg Drahmin.jpg Tanya.jpg images626.jpg

In order to end the war, Shao Kahn agrees to fight at the same time the best 3 warriors Edenia has. Taven, Daegon and Rain come out of the city and the sons of Argus battle the Emperor in the great desert. They manage to pierce his heart but he refuses to follow the mortal rules set by the Elder Gods and die, instead healing himself, to the surprise of mortals and Gods alike. As the youth of Rain and Daegon and their desire to prove themselves the ultimate winner causes them to fight one another instead of fighting the enemy, Taven is forced to stand between them to stop them from tearing each other's throats. They lose the battle and injured, they are forced to retreat into the Capital

After 9 years of war, the Princess tries to do something to help all the people wh are getting hurt. She and Jade evade the Capital without her father's consent through a secret portal in order to seek an alliance against Shao Kahn. They go to Seido and Vaeternus but can't offer terms so that those realms join Edenia's War. They travel to Outworld, to the King of Cryomancers, the last bastion in the icy mountains of Outworld opposing Shao Kahn, where the Princess pleads her case, but the cryomancers are too few to change the outcome of the war

They run when the King Sub-Zero wishes to send them back to her father. Crossing Outworld on horse, the Princess is captured and taken to Shao Kahn. Daegon, young commander of the army, abandons his post leaving to rescue her. He traces her steps but gets captured too. Shao Kahn rapes Kitana under Daegon's eyes while centaurs hold him down and then gelds him, leaving him forever mutilated, but alive in the dungeons with the feeling that he couldn't rescue his lover. Shao Kahn looks into Kitana's soul and tells Daegon about her and his brother. Kitana and Daegon remain prisoners for months, but are separated. They are not allowed to die. Daegon must reflect in hs cold cell again and again that he was not able to save the girl he loves and that she was taken in front of him, depriving him of his manhood. He starts to wonder if his faith in the Elder Gods and good gave him something back in life.
Shao Kahn tries to make Kitana feel ashamed for feeling pleasure during the rape, but she confronts him. She calls him for what a pitiful human being he is and how he does to others what has been done to him- hurt and cause pain. Touched by her unbroken spirit, Shao Kahn attempts to improve his relation with Kitana as he begins to love her. He invites her to dinner in the Palace and she asks him what has made him so angry on the world, what his past is. He says that, maybe, one day he will tell her...but that now his goal is to change the world the Elder Gods have created and he will not die until he achieves it. His body will reject death until he will have his vengeance.

Taven leads a secret offensive into Outworld and saves his brother and Kitana, bringing them injured back to the Capital City, before the Emperor could react.

Jade had become captured with Kitana as well and became one of Quan Chi's slaves. She was not found by Taven as she had been taken to the sorceror's palace. However, Quan Chi treated her kindly because she reminded him of his daughter. The sorcerer creates for Shao Kahn 100 evil Kitana clones named Mileena, the first time this had been achieved.

Enenra, Ashrah, Kintaro and all the 20.000 men in the formerly undefeatable mercenary group all die in battles one by one and their souls are taken by Shao Kahn. Taven mourns their loss but finds his inner strength praying to the Elder Gods and he receives visions to make an alliance. Taven reconciles with his parents.
Hotaru, the last surviving warrior in his mercenary group, is sent to his home, the binary planet system of Seido, the realm with most inhabitants in the Universe, which had remained neutral up to this point, to convince the ruling Senate into an alliance with Edenia against the great evil of Outworld

images494.jpg Kintaro 2.jpg images188.jpg index108.jpg images145.jpg images164.jpg images409.jpg images154.jpg

Seido had already lost 5 MK tournaments and they knew that their downfall was imminent after the 10th loss without Edenian technology that they had not been granted permission to until then. Concerned about giving immortality to Seidans, Edenians give them the fruit of the Sacred Tree combined with an essence that ensures they always choose the right thing to do, thus being responsible for their sense of absolute order. Hundreds of thousands of battle equipped seidans enter Edenia

images199.jpgimages138.jpg

Kitana is helped by her mother, Sindel, to get over her ordeal. Taven tries to heal his little brother, but Daegon is too broken. He loves his brother but now is also aware that Taven and Kitana slept together. Unable to resume his relationship with the Princess who is traumatized and wouldn't see him, ashamed of having been rescued by his brother and seeing that Taven becomes the hero in Kitana's eyes, as well as being declined magical healing of his body by his God-parents, for Edenians encouraged people with deformities to accept themselves, Daegon goes insane. Shinnok steps in as a father figure and tells him that his parents have the power to heal the damage done to his body but instead are aiding Taven. The older demigod brother, in the meanwhile, makes his peace with the Elder Gods and prays for the souls of his fallen comrades. He finds his faith again and vows to win this war for the people of Edenia and kill Shao Kahn the next time they meet in combat.
As the armies of Shao Kahn are pushed back from Edenia by Taven's new-found inner powers and the Edenian-Seido alliance, Argus and Delia have their visions of the future and must come up with a plan to prevent Armageddon. Taven believes the War is won.

Delia's visions made the Elder Gods realize that one among them was interfering with their hindsight and had evil plans for the realms, but they could not be sure which one. This prompted the 6 of them to bestow upon a chosen warrior a tenth of their power. They instruct Argus and Lady Delia to put the 2 brothers to sleep in a place not even themselves will be aware of, while Blaze sacrifices his human body and life in order to be the vessel of the power of the Elder Gods, becoming a fire construct, vesel of the Elder Gods' power out of devotion for his patron God, Lady Delia. Daegon is summoned to his father's throne room and senses something is about to take place, mentally contacting Shinnok, who in turn is able to follow their connection to his burial place in Earthrealm. Taven and Daegon are burried deep beneath Earthrealm, their parents weeping their loss, but knowing that only their sons are to be trusted now that an Elder God might be malevolent and Armageddon close (as they believed).

Shinnok doesn't want the turn of the war to shift in favor of the Edenians, so he appears as Kochal to a group of clerics in Seido and removes the Edenian essence from their blood. He tells them that all things come from chaos and will end in chaos, as chaos is the true way. One of the clerics, Havik, is tasked with triggering a cataclysmic event, resulting in the smaller of the 2 binary planets to be slowly moved of its axis and drawn towards the bigger one. This causes light rock formations to apparently defy the laws of gravity as they are drawn by both planets. The event known as The Tempest not only frees, but also damages the minds of the surviving inhabitants trapped on the smaller planet, which becomes Chaosrealm. Seidan forces must retreat from Edenia and protect their own realm, as chaosrealmers travel by means of portals to the bigger planet and convert/infect seidans

Daegon is awoken by Shinnok who uses magic to trick Caro into thinking Blaze had signaled the release. Shinnok knows Shao Kahn can't enter the capital, the last refuge of Edenians, as long as the magical ward created by Argus stands. He needs someone to infiltrate and kill him, something only another god of his own blood could do. Daegon confronts his parents for all his suffering and is almost calmed by the voice and care of his mother until she tells him that even mutilated he will still be their beloved son and that if Kitana doesn't love him he must accept his brother as her chosen one. Daegon, mad with fury, stabs his mother 100 times in the chest and then cuts his father and all the servants, children and deities in the palace of the Gods. He chains his dragon and forces it to open a portal to Earthrealm, where he evades

The shields failing, King Jerrod has the Tree of Life burnt, giving his daughter only a seed for hiding. Shao Kahn's army enters the capital and, amidst the fighting, he goes to Delia's temple. From there, he accesses the only known portal leading into the Heavens. He finds himself in a large hall in the presence of the 5 Elder Gods (minus Shinnok). They address him with the loving words a parent would address a long lost son, showing him images from his life. They regret that he had chosen this path and he had suffered so much but tell him that it is now time to accept the rule of mortality. In an instant, Shao Kahn is chained down on his hands and knees. As the Elder Gods tell him that they see all possible outcomes and this is where his road ends, Shao Kahn, blood flowing from his nose and ears in concentration, breaks his chains, rises and and throws his sword through an Elder Goddess, to the horror of the other Gods. As he charges at them, they combine their might to magically seal the portal and retreat, leaving Shao Kahn victorious. Coming out of the Edenian temple, his devoted army bows to their new God

King Jerrod, wielding his ancient family sword that is told to have protected the Elder Gods themselves eons ago, therefore granting his family the rule of Edenia, challenges the Emperor. The old king still has great power in him and, in a fearsome battle, plunges his sword through Shao Kahn's skull. As he believes the ordeal to be finally over, the sword slowly comes out of the Emperor's head as he refuses to die once more. Shao Kahn kills King Jerrod, though admits that he respects him and he had fought with honor. He keeps his soul and those of his entire council and generals and fuses them into Ermac

An 18 year old Kitana, protecting the last survivors, fights one last fight and sends Drahmin to Hell decapitating him with her fans, earning the respect of the Outworld army and that of Shao Kahn as he states no more Edenians will be harmed if they embrace his new religion. Edenians are promised a new Golden Age under the rule of Shao Kahn who makes a marriage union with Queen Sindel and gives her his word that she and her daughter will never be touched by him ever again. Rain betrays the last bastion of the Edenian Resistance. He is branded a traitor and forced to cover his face and assume his new identity- his MK9 bio card. Rain and Tanya are given high positions of authority in Kahn's New Court. Emperor Kahn brainwashes Kitana into forgetting all her rape and ordeal, but keeps his word never to touch her again. He resurrects Kintaro and other fallen mercenary warriors to serve under his command. He gives the captured Ashrah to Quan Chi, to do with her as he pleases. The only survivor of Taven's mercenary group remains Hotaru, who goes back to his Seido home and is given an initial military rank, with Seido under constant alert and preparation not to lose more MK tournaments.

Quan Chi tells Jade that thousands of years ago he was actually a Count from Edenia, long before King Jerrod lived. He was introduced to dark magic by a very beautiful Goddess of Time. She corrupted his soul and made him sacrifice his wife and daughter to Lucifer in order to become a powerful sorcerer. After having done so, she still went back on her word and intended to kill him, but he wounded her instead and escaped. Overcome with desperation, he traveled to the Netherealm to bring his wife and daughter back but learned that they didn't belong to Lucifer and never had. They had ascended to Heaven when he killed them. He then went to the Gates of Heaven to retrieve them but was thrown down by the Gods and condemned to live in the Netherealm with the memory of what he had done. He vowed to obtain the power to brake the Gates of Heaven and get them back. A young Jade reminded him of his daughter.
She convinces him to poison all Mileena clones as this could allow Shao Kahn to kill and replace Kitana at any time. Knowing this is treason, Quan Chi frames Reiko for the deaths of the clones (therefore their rivalry). He departs from Jade saying that they will not meet again and disappears from Shao Kahn's service, taking Ashrah with him. The attempts of the Emperor's shadow priests to create other Mileenas end in grotesque failures. Without Quan Chi's assistance, the Emperor cannot retain the souls of the dead Outworld warriors so Drahmin and others who died in the last battle for Edenia are bound to the Netherealm. Shao Kahn will search for another sorcerer as good as Quan Chi in the next 9.000 years.

Shinnok has the 4 remaining Elder Gods weakened, exactly how he wanted them. He goes to Earthrealm, home of 2 species: primitive human tribes and dominant saurians, as well as the center of the Universe, a place from which he can unleash a catastrophic event set to spread everywhere. The Elder Gods empower Raiden, Fujin and other gods to stop him. Raiden battles Shinnok, while Fujin fights Reiko. Tidal waves the size of continents form as much of the planet is destroyed. Preventing their fall over the few saurians and humans who survive gathered in the almost indestructible temples of Argus and Delia on Earth, the last cryomancers and their King come to help and freeze Shinnok's gigantic tidal waves, sacrificing themselves in the unprecedented global freezing process. Shinnok is separated from the Amulet and the war is won, but centuries of hunger and ash will pass until the planet is fully rebuilt. This will later on be remembered as "The Great Flood" in mythology and religions and historical estimates put it 8000 BC, so 10.000 years ago.

2 lesser deities from the Heavens are allowed within the ranks of the Elder Gods in place of Shinnok and the deceased Goddess and Raiden is congratulated as a hero. Taven and Orin, buried deep beneath, survive the destruction unharmed. The few saurians left receive a new home from the Elder Gods in rich Zaterra. The Amulet is hidden in the newly constructed and hidden Temple of Elements. The Earth's shape, with its current continents, is established after the ravaging war and, in centuries, Edenian refugees, who are running from the Shao Kahn regime that is not at all as prosperous as he had intended, are allowed by Raiden to come to different locations on the newly formed continents, in accordance with the multiregional origin of modern humans. They mix with the surviving primitive humans, bringing with them the Agricultural Revolution and tools for farming based on Edenian technology, but are now forced to rely only on technology, something they do not fully master, and cope without the magic of the gods who ensured rich crops and long lifespans. They also bring the religion in Gods, together with the story of the Tree of Life from the Garden of Eden. The last living cryomancer baby is brought to Earth after the genocide of his entire race and he is raised in a community in the far east (later China). Raiden divides the human communities in order to ensure their survival. They populate the entire globe, one community settling in the west and being the ancestors of native-Americans ( and of Nightwolf)

Daegon infiltrates the palace and visits Kitana one last time, having fantasized about killing her, but cannot bring himself to. He realizes his mistakes and they forgive each other. He can't stay at her side as he has caused the doom of his people and is a broken man. She tearfully promises that she will search for him every morning at the moment of their beloved sunrise, from her balcony, although she knows he will never return.

After a while, Kitana stands by the window in her palace room as masses bow below to the new God Emperor Shao Kahn. He informs them that the Elder Gods have proposed a truce, he shall keep the souls that his army had won but be bound by Mortal Kombat in invading other realms. He has challenged Earthrealm to Mortal Kombat, to the horror of Sindel. He says that together they will make the greatest, richest and most beautiful empire the world had ever seen, far surpassing the beauty of Edenia under the royal family's dynasty. Kitana, walking to her great balcony, looks towards the sun, but knows that Daegon is never coming back. She touches her belly and knows she is with child...
(she's 10000 years old, it would be normal if did she did have at least a child at some point, but whose?)

CHAPTER 2: CHILDREN OF EDENIA

Let me know if you want to read it.
................................................................
................................................................
IN THOUSANDS OF YEARS

Shinnok, trapped in the Netherrealm, makes free roaming sorcerer Quan Chi his eyes and ears in the mortal realms, bidding his time to escape. Earthrealm, under Raiden's guidance, manages to grow civilizations. First the Babylonians, Sumerians, then the Egyptians, China and India becompe Empires of the Old World. The Agricultural Revolution brought by the advanced Edenians drives the Earthrealmers forward. Edenian refugees' offspring, however, lose the power not to age on Earthrealm. Raiden creates a special order which trains the best warriors around Earthrealm. They never allow Shao Kahn to reach 10 consecutive victories. A Mediterranean cult that breeds warriors in order to prevent another Elder God menace from Shinnok is also created. Many other civilization flower in the Universe, like the Osh-tekk, Zaterra, Vaeternus, Seido. Outworld challenges them all to Mortal Kombat and different fighters try to appease the Emperor. Despite its many conquests, starvation and darkness encompass Outworld during the following millennia. The human civilization has contact with shokans and Gods from other worlds, Moloch, Shiva (Sheeva) and Dagon (Daegon) being worshiped in Antiquity, but Raiden always guards Earthrealm from them. The Red Dragon and the Lin Kuei are some of the most ancient organizations created, in the Ancient Middle East and the Far East. Raiden's main concerns are the Temple of Elements where Shinnok's Amulet is hidden, guarded by Fujin at all times and the Jinsei of Earthrealm.

9000 years later
The Lin Kuei train within their ranks descendants of the cryomancers and enenras near the medieval Shanghai City in China, who take the code names Sub-Zero and Smoke. These names will later be passed on from generation to generation. First recorded mergers of a demon Scorpion with a warrior from Earthrealm are made when Takeda, the founder of the Shirai Ryu whose name will later be given to Kenshi's son out respect, is the first incarnation of Scorpion. The Black Dragon separates from Daegon's Red Dragon because of the strict honourable rules of the main organization. Caro is kept hidden and his power harnessed through medallions by Daegon.

Shang Tsung in born in Earthrealm in what today is China and is trained to defend his realm in Mortal Kombat. He is lured by Shao Kahn to Outworld's side with promises of eternal youth. He later fights for Outworld and wins 9 tournaments in a row but loses to Kung Lao, later called "The Great". He is punished by the Emperor and sent to the cobalt mines, but makes an alliance with the ruling shokan family and trains Prince Goro in martial arts until Goro becomes an unstoppable champion. Tanya become aquanted with Quan Chi and the Brotherhood of the Shadow and is trained in esoteric arts, waiting for the time to release Shinnok into the world (which she does in MK4). Outworld is shaken by a War with a race of kreeyans, but wins it and General Reiko, while destroying the kreeyan temples, hears the prophecy that will hunt him for the rest of his life: "Reiko's blood reigns". 50 years later, Goro defeats and kills The Great Kung Lao, Shang Tsung absorbing his soul. Goro goes on to win 9 tournaments in a row for Outworld as well. Earthrealm stands once again on the brink of destruction....

Events from Shujinko's quest, MK Mythologies and the games happen. After MKX..........where does the story go?

Here is the possible storyline: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8Ohf1sHIgA

nobody wants to try and read and give it a rating? I wouldn't even mind a low one, just want someone to read it :marchmellow:

Now this is going to look like i'm completely de-railing this thread which isn't what i want to do but given the information we know about MKX............... and since you based this on MKX It can't really be helped.
(^this is also most likely why people are avoiding this thread.)

Let me make things clear i love all of the edenian characters Jade, Kitana, Mileena, Sindel, Tanya, Rain.
^Did see what i did there? To me the other 2 don't exist, especially now that we have a new timeline to abolish all the creative mistakes/directions of the past. Therefore in respect for your story i won't address any of that stuff :flowers:

"I wonder if MKX will cover anything from the Edenian War set 10.000 years ago?"
No.
As far as we know "at this point" the only likely edenian character to be in this game will be Tanya considering everyone else is dead. The only hope for any edenian storylines will be Tanya's backstory for MKX. :hail:

"Raiden leaves his status as Protector of the Realm and decides to be a simple man"
Kai already did that in the og timeline... it was lame then and still would be now.

"Goro repents and starts a process of cohabitation in Outworld. Motaro agrees."
As a huge Motaro (who never gets justice he deserves might i add) and Goro fan this is just.... :puke:

"Kabal reopens the Wu Shi Academy"
:stickpoke:

At the end of the day i know it's just fan fiction (and there's a reason why......)
and this the fan fiction section so i should take things i read here with a grain of salt, however it obvious you care a lot about it considering how long the posts are.

Ok, thanks.

By the way, regarding your sig, I used to be a huge Guts and Griffith fan. I think Berserk will always have a little influence in what I write.
But it's been 4 months since I stopped reading anything related to it, and frankly, it's really refreshing. Like a breath of fresh air. I hope I never succumb into that again. Some things just go too deep into the soul

Umm ok don't really know what you're trying to get at....
succumbing to what?
The greatest story ever told.

^ one does not simply stop reading berserk.
Unless they caught up to the manga and are waiting for the slim hope for a chapter to come out once every 2 months if you're lucky.
Femto = Amazing
Guts = Amazing
This is a MK forum i didn't expect anyone to be soft or be turned of by ultra violence.
Artwork second to none.

You are undoubtedly right, there is no argument from me. Berserk IS the greatest masterpiece of all times...
But it is also evil. You can tell it's the work of a twisted hopeless man from the beginning, yet you are mesmerized and keep on reading it.
Even Kentaro Miura tries from time to time to distance himself from the manga that consumes him, but it always ends up drawing him in and he writes again.
The feeling that binds the 2 main characters, Guts and Griffith is the purest form of love, companionship and camaraderie on Earth. Not homosexual in nature, but without a doubt love. It is there even now, despite all Guts's rage.
I first saw the tv series and read the manga afterwards. I prefer the first one, because it dealt mostly with the Golden Age, my favourite storyline. The voice in the intro (Void?) is just PERFECTION. It is a work of art of the highest quality envisioned by a modern visionary by means unknown even to him and relating to society as a whole. Reading Berserk changes people, it makes you thirsty for torture. I, for one, chose to be done with it, despite the emptiness it leaves in my soul.

I don't understand why you don't like Daegon, he's the closest thing to Femto in the Mortal Kombat universe. The man/boy who chose the sacrifice

I can agree with you on the part where if a person is mentally weak they can be severely affected by reading the berserk manga...
They already know what's in store for them by reputation alone when they decide to read it.
Bottom line Berserk isn't for everyone and it isn't meant to be.
Kentaro takes time off because he is old and has to look after himself, no other reason lol.

The anime/movies are nothing compared to the manga they leave too much out e.g. Puck, the Idea of Evil
The Golden Age arc was solid but it was nothing compared to any arc post eclipse.

I don't understand why you don't like Daegon, he's the closest thing to Femto in the Mortal Kombat universe. The man/boy who chose the sacrifice

I'm actually now questioning if you ever even read the manga after that statement lol.
Daegon is the furthest thing from Griffith.
First of all Daegon was toyed with by shinnok, quite easily might I add.
Sacrifice? He killed his parents... do you really dare to compare that act to the eclipse?:sneaky:
He assembled a 2 man team of fodder characters Mavado (is not a bad ass until he's revamped to suggest otherwise) and Hsu Hao (One of the worst characters to date)
and he was defeated by Taven during Armageddon lol
He has no feats what so ever to his name.
I'm sorry i just don't see what there is to like a about the character at all tbh.

Do i need to even need to explain from a power standpoint? He can manipulate causality....marinate on that for a while.
Griffith could breathe on Daegon and he would struggle to maintain his existence.

Yeah, kind of, but I said closest thing :) , not the same.

It depends on what the writers will do with him. They could make him Shinnok's lapdog but they might also create a god of Mortal Kombat out of him.
He has the potential, which isn't there for 99% of the other characters.

If it was better/neatly organized (perhaps chapters) and the paragraphs weren't too enormous, I'd be more inclinded to read it.

I'm a writer myself but the big, unorganized, text walls are always discouraging.

Ok, I made an attempt!
Your turn to give it a try :)

First of all if that's all you quoted from that list then i needn't say any more.

He has the potential, which isn't there for 99% of the other characters.
No.
Fortunately for fans of MK that isn't the case at all.
99% of other characters in MK have better backstory and development that him.
The percentage that don't (1%) to Mokap, Hsu Hao, Chameleon and Kobra.

Anyway i don't want to continue arguing because this thread isn't supposed to be about that, it's about your story.

Its more like a 5.7 percent chance. Not trying to be a dick, im just bored ;)

hahahaha all good, yea i posted it without all those names and then i kept thinking of more scrubs so edited the post but forgot to edit the percentage lol

Well i didnt take the time to research every single known character but i took armageddon, added 4 from mkx and like 4 more

First of all if that's all you quoted from that list then i needn't say any more.

No, I actually read it all very carefully.

I'm actually now questioning if you ever even read the manga after that statement lol.

This is just like that silly Superman vs Son Goku :)
Don't take this the wrong way,but I've noticed from your other posts on this forum that you are a guy who argues a lot and never relents. Yeah, no problem, you may be right many times, but if we're to argue, let's use "arguements".

- Griffith is a GODhand, Daegon is a demiGOD

- Griffith obtained his powers by making the ultimate sacrifice, abandoning his mortal life, practically himself condemning his company that blindly trusted in him and his friends; Daegon obtained the ultimate weapons forged by Gods as a means to destroy the firespawn Blaze and gain full godhood by also making the ultimate sacrifice, abandoning his life as an Edenian, killing his family and leaving the entire realm at the mercy of Shao Kahn, enslaving his only friend and ancient family dragon, Caro. The stories sound almost the same

- Femto is toyed with by the Idea of Evil, he obtained every power he has because he was chosen, he WAS GIVEN his godhood (although you could make the argument that he was unique in the world, it's only because Miura had the time to flesh out his character). Daegon is manipulated by Shinnok in the exact same way.

- Femto created Falconia as a means to rule the Midlands (and from there the world). Daegon created the Red Dragon. Wow, all this is so similar that it's in fact strange! We know for sure that Shao Kahn conquered Edenia around 10.000 years ago. That puts the death of Argus by Daegon's hand in that period or earlier. Therefore, the Red Dragon is the eldest, most secret organization on Earth, created thousands of years ago, long before the Lin Kuei or the Shirai Ryu. Probably even before the Egyptian or Babylonian civilizations. The Red Dragon is the equivalent of what we today call the masonry and it probably had a saying in the rise and fall of all great civilizations on Earth so far. It knows more secrets than the cryomancy of the Lin Kuei or any government's data. How did you deduce that Daegon only assembled a 2 man team? now I know that you didn't read the entire MK history.:)
There are probably Red Dragon members infiltrated in every international organization or secret services (like Hsu Hao). The NRS knows this and this is why we'll see the Red Dragon again in MKX (as the comic book confirmed). As a comparison, Griffith's Midlands empire will probably last for a couple of years in what is the equivalent of medieval Denmark and then fade into legend, if he doesn't manage to somehow live longer than any godhand before him (and I really hope he does and defeats Guts :tee:) I'm not saying Daegon is better than Griffith or Mortal Kombat is better than Berserk, far from me to think that, but the stories of these two are practically copy-paste. Only that Griffith has a couple thousand pages to be fleshed out and Daegon only has his bios, konquest story and imagination of MK fans. But imagination is the most powerful thing... We are now talking about Mortal Kombat because more than 20 years ago someone imagined a mystical war between forces from different worlds and an evil emperor trying to conquer the Earth....

Look i'm not being rude but maybe you have spent too much time away from berserk to really state these things, most of you're saying is backwards... or maybe you are not up to date. :/
Don't take this the wrong way,but I've noticed from your other posts on this forum that you are a guy who argues a lot
I've only argued in the frost thread in the MKX section and that was only because it turned into fake hype and faction.. i haven't argued anywhere else, i might have exchanged a couple comments here and there about my dismay for a character but i don't go out of my way to cause any trouble or potentially upset anyone.

- Griffith is a GODhand, Daegon is a demiGOD
Wrong.
Grifith is a god.

Daegon obtained the ultimate weapons forged by Gods as a means to destroy the firespawn Blaze and gain full godhood by also making the ultimate sacrifice, abandoning his life as an Edenian, killing his family and leaving the entire realm at the mercy of Shao Kahn, enslaving his only friend and ancient family dragon, Caro. The stories sound almost the same
Daegon's story isn't like grifith's at all.
Honestly it can't be compared at all.
- There was no eclipse like situation.
- Grifith was never manipulated.
- He made his own choice with nobody influencing him at all.
- If anything he would have been swayed in the other direction seeing what was about to happen to the band of the hawk.
- He made his own decision without being manipulated.
- The world belongs to him.

- Femto is toyed with by the Idea of Evil
He was never toyed with.
Sorry but if you what to claim crap like this you need to provide evidence.

Daegon is manipulated by Shinnok in the exact same way.
Grifith was never manipulated.
#FACT.

The Red Dragon is the eldest, most secret organization on Earth, created thousands of years ago, long before the Lin Kuei or the Shirai Ryu.
How did you deduce that Daegon only assembled a 2 man team? now I know that you didn't read the entire MK history.:)

And this is where everything falls apart :)
I agree that they are one of the eldest factions if not the oldest introduced the story at this point.
(This has nothing to do with Berserk though, think about it lol)

Apart from that what else is there to the red dragon??
http://mortalkombat.wikia.com/wiki/Red_Dragon
Now tell me how many name's do you see in the section "Known Members"?
Yes ok.
Feel free to mention other characters who were crucial to the story that they neglected to mention there.
Now tell how many of those (3) names that you see are considered a big deal?
Yes that's right..... 1 and that's being very, very generous.
Tell me about this great red dragon faction :)
Please go on about the list of feats that these great powerful, supreme tyrannical members have?
None? Exactly
Tell me about these other warriors apart from the "known members"
Compare them all to grifith's Apostles please.... after all "it's so similar" it's only fair to compare then right?
http://berserk.wikia.com/wiki/Neo_Band_of_the_Hawk
No it isn't is it?
The list of feats? None.
- Compare the accomplishments
- Compare the bloodlust
- Compare the army
- compare their abilities
- Compare the feats
- Compare destructive capacity
- Give me a name of a character that compares to the greatness of Locus? Or Grunbeld?
God_Hand_Apostles.jpg

Or Zodd?
9236acb65b18553be067ab9695113707607b84fe543c8cae636736e2.jpg

I'm sorry but the red dragon were scrubs that never accomplished anything not only that it's really unfair to compare them to the New Band of the Hawk in any way shape or form.

I'm not saying Daegon is better than Griffith or Mortal Kombat is better than Berserk, far from me to think that, but the stories of these two are practically copy-paste. Only that Griffith has a couple thousand pages to be fleshed out and Daegon only has his bios, konquest story and imagination of MK fans. But imagination is the most powerful thing... I'm not saying i will never like Daegon but the character is nothing like grifith.
- He doesn't think like grifith, he isn't up to par mentally.
- He isn't meticulous like him
-He isn't Tyrannical as him
- He isn't as intelligent as him
- He doesn't have the desire.
- He never did anything to Taven like he did to guts (that's an irrefutable fact.)
- His relationships with characters are completely different.
- Grifith actually accomplishes his goals.

But as far as MKA goes the story as a whole was bad.
I thought Taven and Daegon got fleshed out as much as they possibly could at the time.
Blaze was Horrible and should never ever come back.
Taven and Daegon can get another chance some where down the line maybe for MK12...
hopefully without Armageddon having anything to do with it though.

I don't wished to argue back and forth any longer, i've said my piece providing links and evidence so if you want to agree to disagree or whatever that's fine lol

I've only argued in the frost thread in the MKX section and that was only because it turned into fake hype and faction..

Didn't mean nothing by that and I apologize if it sounded that way. Yeah, it was the frost tread that I recently saw your posts in :)

You're probably more right than I am, but I'm a little right too!

I' m just talking about potential, something that only a few MK characters have. There's really no great story to tell about Jax (in anyway). Or Kano. Or Cyrax. Or Baraka. And I looooved Baraka when he was introduced in MK2. I still love playing as Baraka now. He's a really funny character, it's great to hack your opponents, but he doesn't have main status written on him. No possibility of plot development there. But for Quan Chi, Reiko, Shinnok, Daegon there's an aura of mysticism because they've been around for millennia. Of course, it depends on how the writers will fill in the blanks. Their stories could turn out utter crap. But it's up to the producers of the game

No problem :)

No doubt, I just think it's unfair to compare the two for various reasons.
To me It just made it sound like all sacrifices similar.

Every character has potential, it just depends on how much time, effort and planning is dedicated to a character.
Yea Jax was cool in MK2 and that's about it lol.
I do agree about the sense of mysticism of those characters but i feel that's mostly due to the fact we haven't had the chance to really sink our teeth in or dig deep enough with characters like Reiko and Shinnok.
As far as the Pre MK4 characters go (apart from Motaro) they've been overexposed.. and put through nearly all circumstances imaginable and that's why most of the mystique has faded.

This is part of the reason i'm looking forward to MKX and new characters.

I saw your video on youtube and it was awesome. Even though I don't agree with you about some things, you still get points for putting that together. The way you did justice to all the characters shows how much you actually love this game series. If they did that story in Mortal Kombat 11, I would be entirely happy.
Kuddos man, great to see another mortal kombat fan like you
