TRMK Workout Playlist

To make my time at the gym go by faster, I listen to music. I was there once without any music and it sucked. Plus, music for me, makes the workout funner and it feels like I do better with some good workout tunes.

So I figured for this thread, we can share some good music to workout to. I mostly listen to game soundtracks. There's plenty out there that make great workout soundtracks. Plus this will give us (for those of us who workout and listen to some tunes at the same time) a good way to expand our workout playlist.

Here are some songs that I personally think make great workout soundtrack.

I always do the last 3 minutes on the treadmill running and listening to this.

Here are some others (I would make the videos show up on here, but there's a 2 video max and idk how to get around it)

Lets create one big huge TRMK workout playlist!

In the words of Jason Newsted...

Listen to Metal!

Metal is always the best music to listen to during a work-out. There's more energy in the music than you'll ever need to pull you through it. Here are some recommended songs to get you through. So here's a sample of what I listen to while I'm on the exercise bike.

Also, agreed with Tarkatan Trash about the metal, it's the best musical genre that will pump you up for any exercise.

I regret to inform you that "Hit the Lights" is a registered trademark of James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, and has been since October of 1981, and was published under the "Creeping Death Music" banner on July 25, 1983.

Additionally, I must also inform you that that Selena girl you speak of is DEAD! She was assassinated on March 31st, 1995 in Corpus Christi, TX, at the hands of her own fan club president, Yolanda Saldivar, who is currently serving a life sentence and won't be eligible for parole until 2025 as a result.

Wrong Selena.
The Selena that you speak of is Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, the Mexican-American singer.
The singer that Nasty_Freak is talking about is the tennie-bopper from Disney.

Anyways, the last few albums that I've been listening to at the gym are:

All That Remains - The Fall of Ideals
As I Lay Dying - Shadows Are Security
As I Lay Dying - Awakened

Are you sure that's her legal first name? I don't buy that for one moment. Growing up in South Texas, I was only aware of ONE Selena, and that was the Tejano singer who was murdered (and I don't even listen to Tejano music, though being Hispanic on my dad's side, I obviously have relatives who do). Given the fact that it has just now come to my attention that the Disney teeny bopper has STOLEN the song titles "Hit The Lights" and "Whiplash" from Metallica on one of her albums (oddly enough, they're song titles from the same Metallica album, that being Kill 'em All), I have reason to believe that her name was stolen off a deceased Tejano singer, and as a native South Texan, that is a severe insult if that happens to be true!

Quintanilla-Perez is the REAL Selena, and the REAL "Hit the Lights" and "Whiplash" are on an album called Kill 'em All, and that is final!

The Disney singer's real name IS Selena Gomez.
Go look it up.

I wasn't refuting where Hit The Lights and Whiplash came from.
I know that.
You're preaching to the choir.
I have every single Metallica album that was ever released.

I was just simply refuting the Disney singer that you're wrongly confusing for the Mexican singer.
Plain and simple.
