I never beat FF7, so the only reason I'm sticking up for it, is because it brought CG cinematic's to a whole new light in gaming. They looked great for back in the day and every game basically has them since then.

Underrated
Shin Megami Tensei series
Industrial music (Sky, Rook and Spinerippingfun are the only people I know who really listen to that kind of music)
Dragon Age (always seems to be over shadowed by Mass Effect)

If anything, I'd say it's over-rated.
The only thing I hear people talk about these days (including my wife), when it comes to computers, is "Apple this" and "Apple that."
I get that it's a good product, but I'm not all "ERMAHGERD, I MUST HAZ APPUL E'RYTHING." :rolleyes:

If you really examine this critically, it's a dumb thread.

It's just basically, list a bunch of popular stuff you don't like, and then list a bunch of less popular stuff you love.
It doesn't really mean anything useful.

Yeah I completely agree. It was meant to be in the overrated. I actually hate apple products lol. That was my bad.
 
Lol, Inuyasha? Overrated? That anime probably gets nearly as much hate in the anime community now as the Big 3 (Naruto, One Piece, Bleach) do

Maybe during its heyday back in the mid-2000s you could consider it that, but it's more polarizing than over or underrated

This is DEFINITELY backwards. EVERYONE and their mothers loves Venom and no one likes Carnage. I am literally the only person I know who collects comics and likes Carnage. I seriously don't know any other Carnage fans.

There's a reason why Venom has hoodies, was in the third Spider-Man movie, has plenty of action figures made of him and even has his own series in comics, while Carnage only gets maybe 1 action figure every 5 years or so, has never made a movie appearance, and only 1 game.

The third Spiderman movie is a terrible example.
Sam Raimi didn't want anything to do with Venom, and the studio forced him to have Venom in, which is why he came out so shitty.

Maybe Venom was getting lots of love 3 or 4 years ago, but recently whenever I ask anyone about a good villain for Spiderman movies, people usually say Doc Oc, Green Goblin and Carnage.
Very rarely do I find someone that loves Venom like I do.
Any time I've seen people b**** about a Spiderman movie, the first character that I see people mention that they want in, in various social media sites and people that I ask in person, is Carnage.
People completely skip over the fact that there is no Carnage without Venom, and go straight to Carnage.
The amount of Carnage love way over-does the amount of Venom love these days.

That pretty much proves my point right there. If the studio forced Sam to have him in his movie, that means that Venom would make the movie sell a lot because Venom was in it. If Carnage is as popular as you think he is, he would have been in the movie instead of Venom.

Most people (who are not comic collectors) don't even know about Carnage. They know about Venom.

Well I don't know who in the hell you're talking to, but Venom is what I always hear when people talk about Spider-Man villains. People who do know about Carnage just think he's cool because he kills people, but that's it, and go straight to Venom because Venom is more popular than Carnage because Venom was pretty much known as Spider-Man's opposite. Like I said, Venom gets all the attention. Not Carnage, but if Carnage was getting all the attention, he'd get his own series. Hell even MORBIUS has his own damn series out. All Carnage ever gets is just a small series every now and then. Never a full series like VENOM does, which I believe is now already up to 30 issues.
