Just finished my Mileena fanart painting from MK9.

Constructive Criticism:

Nice coloring and shading, fantastic job on the hair!!
but you need to work more on depth and proportions. The sai look a little flat and wonky, probably greatly due to the blood, putting splatters or any pattern on something can usually give this effect and hurt the drawing overall. Also her arms are too short for her body and they're a bit "bubbly" like they're made of perfect circles, which when squeezed by the arm band make her look bloated. The back is nice as is the pattern on her outfit, but the inconsistency with the shoulder portion (the back is tight while the shoulders are loose and large) coupled with the fact that the shoulder portion is a similar color to her skin confuses the eye in terms of the depth and where her garment is placed. The face may also need more spacing, because as I've learned if you push the features too close together it makes the person look younger, and Mileena only acts like a child. But other than that, good work. Hope to see some more stuff in the future.
