ANYWAY maybe nothing new but I got a 17 hit combo with Jax near/approaching the corner

Here's how it went :

Back 1, 2, 4, dash punch, 1,2, 1,2, 1,2, [Optional another 1,2] ex dash punch, or ex Gotcha grab, or ex anti air grab
If you want to throw the ex (or regular) overhead smash at the end then you must do the 1,2 string twice.
 
Johnny Cage's parry only works from sweep range. Mileena's d4 and other moves with a lot of reach beat it.


X-rays disable armor.

I mentioned this in a post already I'll update with spoiler tags when we get a little more.

No combos guys, please, unless you feel like its one of the best and no one really knows it.

Looking for more facts about advantage disadvantage and ways around things ways to keep or start pressure. Ways to get out. What you can and cannot do after something you do or is done to you

Or principals and statistics of moves.
Like scorpion can get full punish combo'd on by jade if he shoots a spear through her glow even at full screen distance.

-When D4 hits a standing opponent you get advantage.

-Special moves build meter ( x-rays don't )

-Hitting a blocking opponent builds meter.

-Losing 50% of your life will build you one bar of meter.

-Projectiles go through each other.

-D1 usually beats air born opponents.

-Krato's stage shakes making it mess up combos once in a while.

-Throws are untechable knock downs.
 
with sindel..when doing her 2 1 2 string, that last hit can be held. When using her float, after she reaches her maximum height, you can throw a fireball and dash out of it to cancel the recovery frames and throw another fireball. this combos if it hits.

Raidens teleport is punishable

Kitana's xray cannot be ducked and she can do an instant version of it. making an opponent duck iafs then mixing in an iaxray is an awesome tactic

Sonya has the fastest uppercut in the game and her jab has the biggest hitbox in the game (jab wise)

Mileena's, Baraka's, Sonya's and Reptile's d4 are punishable on whiff.

Johnny's Ex Nutpunch has the most invincibility frames than any other move in the game. Its the best "Get the **** off me" move in the game.

Kung Lao's Ex Teleport and Rain's Ex Roundhouse Kick are armored attacks that absorb two hits.

I thought Kung Lao had super armor on his teleport hence you can hit him 10000X and he'll absorb them all

Also NightWolf gets a free jump in punch or lightning after forward2

He also gets a free dash in after 11. so after 11 you can check them with forward 2 if they block they block if it hits you get a jump in. I do 11 dash in 114

I remember someone telling me F2 is unsafe on block is that incorrect?

lol yeah I think it is unsafe but its not like his sweep or anything it looks safe. I'll check when I get home so we know for sure but whether or not its safe or unsafe I think its worth it because if it lands you can get 32% using one bar of meter.

update: It's safe !!! we jump at the same time when I turn off block.

Barakas blade charge is not safe at all distances. You can remove that

You get a free F4 with raka after:

B3,1 B,31 B,31
2,2 1+2 B,31 B,31
Chop chop
F44
This leads to insane corner pressure^

Baraka's F2 is an overhead

Off of a hit confirmed B3 you can do:
B3,1(combo starter)
Slices(safe on block)
2,2(catch them by surprise)

After an Air to Air collision you can blade charge

Blade spark will make Jax's ground pounds whiff from all ranges(Yes there is a vid of this)

U3 is +10 on block(Might have said that already)

To be honest, Mileena used to kill my CSZ.
Now all I do is stand block to escape her roll, teleport, and sai's.
Feeling frisky with that U+4? You just got Ice parried or EX parry.
Noted this experience is from scrub-moderately decent Mileena players online.
A true master of Mileena would probably rape my ass hole, but for now she is no major threat to me.
Pretty sure Major Logan gave me a good beating while playing as Mileena though.
But his Kitana and Mileena are too good for me to f*ck with.. he could probably tell you anything and everything you need to know about Kitana, if FatalityRay missed anything.

:laugh: It's decent, people have a much better Cyber Sub than I.
I mained him when he was the ultimate underdog, he was severely untouched.
I had his 3,4 3,4 3,4 3,3, ex-slide corner game mastered on day 2 of release.
I loved his concept and everything about him, still do.
Sektor is my go-to guy now, his b2 that can trade into flamethrower is intense.
But yeah, my Cyber sub is alright, guarantee you can beat him.
I'm on a periless journey to try to implement an ice bomb game with him, so If anyone (Flagg :)) can help me out with that, It would be appreciated.
 
For the record, Anything I post in this thread is for Raka:

Frame trap: 2,2 1+2 F4 2,2 1+2 F4(You can also start with an F4)

D4 is one of the best pokes in the game(Rivaling mileenas)

F2 is an overhead, great for corner pressure

Baraka has a 7 frame spin(Faster than some pokes)

A chop chop can be beat by a jump in punch

EX slices is totally worthless unless used in the corner

With D4, D3, and D1 Baraka's greatest tool is his footsies

Blade charge is his best punisher

EX blade charge goes through projectiles

U3 resets corner combos. Ex:
B3,1 U3, b3,1 b3,1 EX spin, spin

His worst matchups are Kabal and Kitana

His D1 will get you out of ANY pressure.

Spin will keep people in the corner

SOMETIMES his blade charge will go through projectiles(online and offline)

You can add a 2,2 1+2 on the chop chop F4 for extra damage
 
Damn Zoid, nice list.
His EX blade charge helped out my Baraka game immensely, and it was due to a video you posted awhile ago (may have been in the official baraka thread.) I don't play as him much but tips like these are greatly appreciated. I have limited knowledge of all characters, and a good bit on about 40% of them. The females remain mostly untouched by me, with the exception of Skarlet.
