Hello guys, it's been some time since I post updates, and I see that a lot has happened in that time.
Bleed is back, this is great news.

Well, that's what I have to start the week.

Nice work on sonya... Walking forward & backward animations looks a little "stiff" i will check the current gifs of the ripped from the game to compare.

Cris, everything looks great! I think the hair should be fixed in her Crouch Animation.
Also the static hips rotation when is walking.

The rest looks amazing!

hey chris, looking good, I'm amazed by your advance since you've been missing for a while, here are my comments:

STANCE:
I know you've worked so hard on this one trying to get it perfect but sonya's right arm is still looking kind of still, try to pull sonya arms more to the right in the last pose.. try to draw a circle in sonya's right fist and do as much as you can to make the fist follow that circle.
try to imitate the motion you did to her left arm, where you can see a circular pattern.

try to make her pelvis go a little bit more to the left as she is going down.

WALKING
she looks like tip toeing also she should bounce a little bit, I know she might not look like bouncing on the original sprites but trust me, if you add that bounce the walking animation will look more natural.
her upper body looks REALLY STIFF and looks like her arms are glued in that ready to fight position. make her arms goes up when she is going down, just a little bit, that will add a bounce to her arms.
I don't know why but I got the impression that her left leg is making an IMPOSSIBLE bend as she walks... check that out.
you don't have to do a walking backwards animation just to change the expression... that won't be noticeable, to be honest. I don't see any difference between her face walking forward or backwards...sorry man... at the end the walking backwards animation will be the same walking forward animation played backwards.

DUCKING
this one looks really good just minor details to look at, like her hair looking like there's no gravity or wheight.
her feet shouldn't move... at all
her arms looks stiff. try to make sonya bounce and move a little bit her arms as she bounces... kind like if she were breathing as she stills down, that will add a few more frames but it will be worth.

GENERAL
try to make the white material of her shoes and soxs a little bit more greish, now they look too watched out.
this is kind of tricky, but to make a 3d model move realistically you have to move EVERYTHING when the model makes a movement, for example... when you walk, everything moves and bounces and reacts to the weight of all the parts of you body.

check this video, when that funny 3d model is saying good bye you can see how HIS WHOLE BODY MOVES as he waves his arm.

this other video will give you an idea to what I mean with bounce, you can see how this guys bounces when he lands, that is what you should add

Great work Cris! I'll let the other comment on the finer points of your animations but I wanted to let you know that Kano statue you put up for me before is broken. I can't open the file in 3ds Max or zBrush. Whatever you did last time with the Sonya statue..can you please do that again and repost?

Maybe I'll do one more attempt with his arm.

Compared to give it a little jump when walking, your suggestion is interesting, but I will not promise anything.

The upper part of the body I did this alternative way compared to the original.
In the original she only has animation from the waist down because the top is a static image.
So I had to change it when it moves to the top of the hip moves simultaneously.
The arms are not glued, they possess an independent and subtle movement, but keeping the posture of the original version.

The left leg is not doing an impossible movement when she walks,
What I see are the leg muscles react when she walks.

I posted the two animations of walking with different facial expressions, not to be used alternately when the game is programmed. But for a free choice of which one would be definitive for the game. But it was not possible to visualize the difference between them, Patience, perhaps this is because of the quality of the gif.

The animation squat can make some adjustments in the hair.
Sonya's feet move when she crouches on the original, I just play the same way as the arms.
Animation jump I did not, but thanks for the tips.
