Im not going to call you a liar. Im curious, how often do the shadows cross the moon, or how often does Reptile come down and givge hints? I have yet to see him do this.

I'm not sure how often he comes down to give hints, but something should pass in front of the moon maybe every 6th time you play through to the Pit stage. Each time I've seen something pass by I was on like my 3rd or 4th straight game against the computer.

When I fought Reptile, I had beaten the game twice, I believe, and fought him in my 3rd game. I made it really easy, though. After I started that game, I just kept dying and continuing until I got to the Pit stage and saw a silhouette pass by the moon. That way, all I had to do was get a double-flawless victory on the weakest battle of the game.
