A quick question

Hey everyone, been a while since I posted, and for that I apologize, but I've got a quick question, as the title shows.

My sister decided she wanted to start playing MK, so she made an account on my ps3. But she can't get onto the online servers or anything. Does she need to buy another combat pass for her account on my ps3? Or does the one from my main account work for her?

OR is it just that the servers are down right now?

The season pass can be activated once only and works for all the users in the same console.
