I take it the red thing at the top of the cover is what confirms the demo? I think I can make out the word "demo" on it.

It's supposed to say "includes demo from next game mortal kombat" in french.
"Inclus la demo du prochain jeu mortal kombat". The reason i say the demo is 3d is the logo on the bottom of the cover. Mk9 was announced to be 3d anyway.
