I just want to double check with you on this one. After going back and comparing to the arcade photo it looks like there should still be a bit of shadowy stuff going on there. Maybe I'll focus a little more on the shape of it to match the arcade version more and that would help? UPDATE...

Here's a tiny sample "behind the scenes" of what I'm working on right now with Bleed's raiden.

I'm pretty happy with this, may revisit it later if needed. Let me know what you think. I am going to go ahead and start on raiden's portrait along with the second liu kang ending shot and keep you updated.

Great job on the model, Arq. I have a handful of little details I still want to add, but here is some progress to look at. New one in middle.

Not only is it an Asian eye, it's Ho-Sung's eye. A little hard to tell though when the portrait is brought down to final size. They only had 1 pixel of height to work with on his eyes in the original and if they were to add a pixel to the bottom or top of his eye it would have looked huge at...

Here are some of the fixes that uKER pointed out and I saw a couple of extra things to mess with too, you'll have to look closely. I'd personally be happy with this as a final.

So far I've got Liu's hair under control.

Fixed his nostril and his hair. I'm still really liking Bleed's reflection on the glasses and I don't think the difference will change the feel of the original too much, but there seems to be mixed feelings on this still. Let me know what you guys think.

Made his hair a bit lighter. I don't think I'm going to mess with the style of it, it's going to be shrunk down even more than what you see here and I think with its lighting it will look familiar enough to the arcade version as it is.

Here's what I got: The edits: I think Bleed's new reflections on the glasses look great and helps maintain a lot of the realism of the picture, I put in a vote that we keep Bleed's, but am open to suggestion of course. Let me know!
