CHICAGO – October 9, 2006 – Midway Games Inc. (NYSE: MWY), a leading interactive entertainment industry publisher and developer, today announced that Mortal Kombat®: Armageddon™, the final chapter of the Mortal Kombat franchise for current generation gaming systems, has shipped for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. Both the standard and Premium Edition packs are now available. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft is scheduled to be available Monday, October 16. In addition to Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, Midway is also scheduled to release both Ultimate Mortal Kombat® 3 for Xbox Live™ and Mortal Kombat®: Unchained™ for the PSP™ (PlayStation Portable) in November of this year.

It won't arrive in stores probably untill late, and before the stores open tomorrow it will be put on the shelves. Am I going to be able to pick up MKA Xbox on the 16th or the day after?

No dude it got delayed, haven't you heard? I'm getting it for Xbox also, and it sucks that we gotta wait but it's definately going to be worth it! Xbox will have lots more room for Kreated Kharacters, better graphics, and it will support 720P instead of 480P which PS2 only gets 480P HAHA!!

more room for created kharacters? Where did you hear that from? I have 2 memory cards so ill have enough room. I really doubt xbox graphics will be better, maybe a little more crisp. But nothing to brag about. I mean id rather have the PE package then what you are bragging about.

This is suck! Gamecrazy told me that xbox come out on the 10th or 11th. Edit: Maybe Walmart and Bestbuy is only one that been delayed. Just call all the game stores(at your location) and asked the about MKA Release. Post the release for MKA for Xbox from any stores.

It will be about the difference between a normal TV and an HDTV, which is pretty sweet. The Xbox hard drive is bigger than two PS2 memeory cards though, so you can save more profiles. I'm sure I won't make enough to fill the equivalent of two or so PS2 memory cards, I just like the fact that I could if I wanted.

I'm not talking about EBgames i was talking about Gamecrazy. I did just called that guy at GC and he said either 10 or 11. edit:But i may not be at that location(your location, my location is everett washington) I know it been should be out by the tomorrow or next day after tomorrow.

I will call my EBGames in an hour to see if they have it. They might have it early and who knows, maybe the stores get it, but they can't sell it untill the day after.

I just got the call from Gamespot (EBGames). I can pick it up............. Tomorrow afternoon, dammit. Oh well, it's official for me now. Edit: On MKO (they are slow...) it says in Dallas people have it, is this true? Idk, I will just get it tomorrow..
