A new loading screen from Mortal Kombat: Armageddon was released over on the Midway Boards. This time a little bit of controversy comes with this image of Dairou vs. Female Kreate a Fighter. Previous loading screens have featured a blue male and female Kreate a Fighter, while the character select screen features a red and blue Kreate a Fighter character squares. This new loading screen features a purple female Kreate a Fighter, prompting rampant speculation and numerous questions on the forums.
Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is the last chapter in the current generation of Mortal Kombat games. Featured initially only on Microsoft Xbox and Sony PlayStation 2, the game will have the largest roster of characters and also feature a new "kart" racing mini-game dubbed Motor Kombat. In North America, the standard and premium edition PlayStation 2 versions will be in stores on October 10th, while the Xbox version will debut on October 17th. The game will also appear on the Nintendo Wii in the first quarter of 2007.
