It appears that you may be able to get your hands on Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks (Xbox, PS2) before this weekend after all. We have received word that those who have pre-ordered Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks at GameStop received an automated phone message yesterday saying the game would be available for pickup after 12 noon on Friday. Also, a quick check of GameStop's product page shows that Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks is shipping within 24 hours.
Before you try to pick up a copy (pre-order probably not necessary), make sure that you call your local store ahead of time. Also, please leave a comment to this story with your results. We will be updating this story with more details later in the day.
[color=red">UPDATE #2: Several GameStop and EB Games stores show that the game is "active" in their computer; therefore, they have been given the green light to sell as it has been "streeted". Now the real question is whether the stores actually received their shipment of the games. Make sure you call your local stores as some we have contacted say that they're expecting shipments tomorrow, and some are expecting them today.
