Midway Games held its Q2 2005 Earnings Call today, detailing weaker than anticipated earnings and lowered full-year forcasts. The good news for MK fans here is that during the call, Midway officially announced the subtitles of the upcoming Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) titles from Midway.
The previously announced Mortal Kombat: Deception port is now called Mortal Kombat: Deception Unchained; and the upcoming Midway Arcade Treasures collection for the Sony PSP, which will contain at least two ports of early Mortal Kombat titles, is now called Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play. In addition, Midway also announced that both games will feature wireless head-to-head play.
Both titles should be released in the 4th Quarter, in time for the Christmas 2005 holiday season.
