won the award for 'Best Fighting Game of the Year', beating out tough competition from Def Jam: Fight for New York
(Electronic Arts), Dead or Alive Ultimate
(Tecmo), Fight Night 2004
(Electronic Arts) and WWE: Smackdown! vs. Raw
(THQ). The award was voted on by a select panel of industry experts.
