Midway has announced that the Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) version of Mortal Kombat: Unchained has shipped to retailers nationwide. Based off of the award winning Mortal Kombat: Deception, Unchained brings the 3D fighting series to the handheld market for the first time.
Exclusive to the PSP system are six new characters, including Kitana, Frost, Blaze, Goro and Shao Kahn. Also exclusive to the PSP is an all–new game type, Endurance Mode, in which players must battle their way to the top against an all–star roster of Mortal Kombat fighters. Midway has sent five screenshots of the new Endurance Mode feature.
