Don't party too hard in the parade ironrod. Yea that catch was amazing Liu Kang! Well on to the next season. Johnny in Rehab? Hope he gets the help that he needs.

In other news, Justice has FINALLY prevailed in Canton, Ohio! Whoever thought the winningest Super Bowl Champion of All Time didn't belong in the Hall of Fame needs to be stripped of their media credentials!

I hope he gets his Hall of Fame ring at Jerry World instead of that bell bottom stadium. He won more rings for Dallas than he did for San Fran (plus his trade to Dallas flipped the balance of power between the two franchises).

Charles Haley deserved to be in the Hall of Fame. What would've happened if he didn't have back issues? As for Johnny "Football". Thank god Dallas drafted another offensive lineman in Zach Martin.

You a Cowboys fan? I remember my team getting laughed at for taking Martin over Manziel, but I defended the decision, citing red flags on Manziel that could potentially continue in the NFL. All I have to say is, who's laughing NOW?!

And Haley not getting in can be attributed to him having an icy relationship with the media (oddly enough, it's the media who votes on the Hall of Fame), as well as some issues in the locker room with coaches and teammates, ESPECIALLY in San Francisco (which was a factor in him being traded to Dallas in the first place...San Fran probably wishes they traded him somewhere else, because Dallas won 3 Super Bowls with Haley, two of which came at San Fran's direct expense in the NFC Championship Game). The bylaws of the Pro Football Hall of Fame clearly prohibit off-the-field issues from being considered, but you never know what gets discussed behind closed doors. It was later discovered that Haley was bipolar.

I was moments away from laughing as Tom Brady cried. I can't believe the run option was so obvious but not taken. Wow. Poor Wilson.

98 years old. that's a lot of years
He even outlived his son, Steve, also famous for his work at NFL Films. (Steve Sabol died 2 years ago towards the beginning of the season due to an inoperable brain tumor).

If it weren't for NFL Films, telling the history of the game wouldn't be the same...

NFL owners vote in favor of moving the extra point spot back to the 15 yard line; 2 pt. conversions stay at the 2 yard line.

The thought is that the league average of field goals made from the 15 yard line is about 90%, while 2 point conversions made was around 50%. On aggregate, you are talking about 9 points (9/10) on kicks to 10 points (5/10) on two point conversions.

It could definitely change how coaches go about strategy after scoring, all the name of "more excitement, more scoring".

I personally think it's a crock. A decision that didn't need to be made.

I agree. The league has really been trying to bone the Kicking game for the last 5 years. There has even been consideration for eliminating the Kickoff altogether, which would really suck, because it also eliminates the Onside Kick. How the hell are teams supposed to mount a comeback if you take away the most important tool for it? We just saw the Seattle Seahawks win the NFCCG using that very tool successfully!

And on another note, I hope the Brady suspension sticks. My Cowboys are the last game of that suspension.

Here's something that challenges the ovebearing domination of Brady's NFL (a trend we see recently in sport --- i.e., Federer ATP, LeBron NBA):

BO JACKSON!!

Here's a guy who shined in both baseball (Kansas City Royals) and football (LA Raiders). I wonder what Bo thinks about his Raiders moving to Vegas.

We should coordinate 'celebrity-trends' in media/sports with more 'talent-based confetti' (to make a 'marketing mini-revolution!).

"The revolution will not be televised..."

====

BO JACKSON: Free-agency related corruption in sports is suicide...
TOM BRADY: It's worse than suicide; it's cannibalism...
BO JACKSON: Fans don't want 'gods' in the media!
TOM BRADY: Correct; they want role-models.
BO JACKSON: I'm feeling better and better about the 'Vegas Raiders.'
TOM BRADY: Why not? The U.S. President was a casino-owner (Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City).
BO JACKSON: Maybe we're being too cynical.
TOM BRADY: About suicide/cannibalism?
BO JACKSON: Yes! Maybe sports is simply gloomy because of basic and forgiveable 'human error.'
TOM BRADY: Such as?
BO JACKSON: Overcrowding teams with super-talents (i.e., Real Madrid, NY Yankees).
TOM BRADY: Now, the Warriors (NBA) have both Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant.
BO JACKSON: Yes, so how do fans celebrate 'comet-talents' such as Scottie Pippen and Drew Bledsoe?
TOM BRADY: We just need better management in the NFL...
BO JACKSON: You're correct. And better media endorsements (and less free-agency corruption!).
