Midway Reveals European Kollector's Edition Content

After last week's North American <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_vs_dc_universe/">Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe</a> <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=pd2w*IOD4qM&offerid=121938.125401&type=2&subid=3">Kollector's Edition</a> content was detailed</a>, <a href="http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=259361">Eurogamer got information</a> from Midway that details the European <a href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=pd2w*IOD4qM&offerid=121938.125401&type=2&subid=3">Kollector's Edition</a> contents. It appear that they'll be getting completely different things than in North America, like a full sized Alex Ross poster and lithographs. Midway said that the details are still not final, so once we have official word we'll be sure to announce it here. Here is what Midway had to say about it to <a href="http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=259361">Eurogamer</a>:

"We have a full complement of different offerings for Europe, a reward pack with a drawstring bag, comic and Alex Ross poster will be available with certain retailers; EU-exclusive t-shirts with a few partners; exclusive litho prints; and there's one last unannounced item that may be coming. Final details are being ironed out now."

Currently, UK game retailer <a href="http://www.game.co.uk/">GAME</a> lists the <a href="http://www.game.co.uk/PS3/Fighting/~r337159/Mortal-Kombat-Vs-DC-Universe-Special-Edition/?s=kombat">"Special Edition"</a> price at <b>GBP 49.99</b> with the current release date set to <b>Novemeber 21st, 2008</b> which is currently a date that Midway has not officially confirmed yet.

Hmm when I checked Game last it said MK vs DC was due 21st November although they didn't have the Kollectors version on there then. The 11th is an odd day to release it though as most games tend to be released on a Friday here, but not going to complain if it's right! The earlier the better I say ;) (and my birthday is the 13th so would be a great present!)
 
That sounds awesome, I wonder what cover we get for it.

the release date on GAME is actually the 21st of the 11th, dont forget we write the date Day/Month/Year as apposed to Month/Day/Year.

Well the UK PS3 version should play in the US, not sure if the 360 works like that but I KNOW the PS3 does.

There's a space of about two weeks between. It's the holidays coming up, I can only afford like one game a month. Fallout 3, MK, Silent Hill, Xmas. I don't think I need both anyway. I might try and get the poster and bag on ebay later on though.
 
The Dollar rising against the Pound has swayed me, I cancelled the order from Gamestop and ordered the UK KE from Play.com. The comic was all I wanted, and plus I get that Alex Ross poster that Tim wanted ;)
