I will assume just like other games it will be free for the one's who pick up the original and those who didn't or purchases it used will have to purchase them later. If you have to purchase later they will be bundled. That is pretty much how DLC is going to work.

We are not sure if these items are pre-order only or if they are more of a "early unlock" situation. Meaning you can unlock them in the game, but if you pre-order it you get it early.

I do hope they will be unlockable or maybe a TE release in Europe. European fans always being left out with Collectors/Tournament Editions.

ps. The classic Reptile costumes pisses al over scorpion's, reptile's and subzero's MK 2011 costumes.

I really hope the case is an "early unlock". I'm a huge MK fan and everything but I'm only pre-ordering this game once. And because I hate Gamestop (figures they get the Toasty Fatality, grrr) and am indifferent about Sub-Zero and Reptile looks like it'll be the Amazon Pre-Order for me even though I'd prefer Scorpions original Fatality.

Argh! Which one do I get?! Where do I get it from?! I'm overcome with feelings of awesome!

Alright, I'm thinking the Kollector's Edition over the Tournament Edition, since I suck at playing with a stick, and as tempting as classic Reptile is, I probably won't get much play out of him anyway, so I'll go with my buddy Scorp.

Wanted to add I hope this is what the final build of the game is like as far as these skins and Fatalities are concerned.

Scorpion:
New Costume 1 - Unlocked from the start
New Costume 2 - Unlocked via the Krypt
Classic Costume - Unlocked via the Krypt or unlocked from the start if you pre-order from GameStop

Fatality 1 - Unlocked from the start
Fatality 2 -Unlocked from the start
Classic Fatality - Unlocked via the Krypt or unlocked from the start if you pre-order from GameStop

Sub-Zero:
New Costume 1 - Unlocked from the start
New Costume 2 - Unlocked via the Krypt
Classic Costume - Unlocked via the Krypt or unlocked from the start if you pre-order from Best Buy

Fatality 1 - Unlocked from the start
Fatality 2 -Unlocked from the start
Classic Fatality - Unlocked via the Krypt or unlocked from the start if you pre-order from Best Buy

Reptile:
New Costume 1 - Unlocked from the start
New Costume 2 - Unlocked via the Krypt
Classic Costume - Unlocked via the Krypt or unlocked from the start if you pre-order from Amazon

Fatality 1 - Unlocked from the start
Fatality 2 -Unlocked from the start
Classic Fatality - Unlocked via the Krypt or unlocked from the start if you pre-order from Amazon

Otherwise I'm going to be super disappointed with WB and NetherRealm Studios and the fact that they will make us pay for DLC in order to get the other two ninjas classic outfits and Fatalities!

i really gotta give it up to NRS and WB on this one

they are really delivering on what the long term fans REALLY wanted

this is awesome, going to gamestop now to switch my preorder

Guys i have a question, does the tournament addition ADD ON to the kollectors edition, or are they seperate. Basically im trying to say is do you get the art book and figurine, as well as the arcade stick, or are the editions completely different, when it comes to the stated kontent.

I want those damn figurines. They'll look amazing next to my 500 other geeky statues.

I kinda want the arcade thing as well... Sigh... I hate decisions like this.

bah, what about international players and MK fans?!? i realy want Kollector's Edition with both Sub-Zero and Scorpion and those exlusive costumes :(

lets hope at least those exlusive/alternate/klassic costumes will be available later for all as DLC.

That arcade stick looks beautiful. Love the wood construction and hinged top. I'm a little worried about that detachable usb cable...

I posted a thread about this but it might get a little more attention over here.

Just a heads up for the International fans.

If you go over to the pre-order section of the official site they have links for some of you and more coming soon. Sorry but right now there is no Tournament Edition for any one but USA and Australia but I hope this help you guys out.

http://www.themortalkombat.com/web/g...order?lc=en_US

Oh and for all of us here in the USA they have links for all the versions from Best Buy, Gamestop, Amazon and Walmart but some of the sites haven't all been update yet.

can someone clear this up for me, I'm a little confused.

Does the Tournament Edition include the "bookends" that are included with the Kollector's Edition, or is it just the fight-stick?

Thanks!
