5 New MK: Armageddon Loading Screens, Koncept Art

Over on the Midway Boards, five more loading screens from Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, featuring Jax vs Kano, Female Kreate a Fighter vs Mileena, Sektor vs Cyrax, Kabal vs Mavado and Liu Kang vs Shang Tsung were released. Also, over on the Official Website a new koncept artwork render of Sektor and of Motor Kombat has been released on the "question mark" page.




Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is the last chapter in the current generation of Mortal Kombat games. Featured only on Microsoft Xbox and Sony PlayStation 2, the game will have the largest roster of characters and also feature a new "kart" racing mini-game dubbed Motor Kombat. The game will also appear on the Nintendo Wii in the first quarter of 2007.

Love the Kabal/Mavado vs screen. But mostly because Kabal is in it. And that Motor Kombat track looks simply insane!

Okay, I gotta admit I was a bit taken aback at the thought of a cheesy racing game. After seeing this shot of it...I'm excited... It's cute, in that guts-n-gore kinda way.

As fun as it may be, Motor Kombat is nothing really new. Just Mario Kart with MK characters [only 8-10], which is sad in itself. To me it's only a minigame to supplement the main games. I shake my head when I hear members from here state that they will be playing this racing game much more than the main game. Wtf?

Nicely said, dude. Give that fella a box of Cigars. It's good to see that not everyone has been corrupted by the new Motaro's looks. But I've never quite heard it put that way. I would trade that and even 2-3 of the lesser players to redeem Motaros original look. But unfortunately, it doesn't work that way.

Indeed. How does that saying go? "You can't please everybody all of the time?"

I think that there are way more Motaro fans than there are Mokap fans out there. But it's not really fair to remove a player such as Mokap just so the Motaro fans would get their wishes. For the record, I'm not a fan of the Motion Capture Light Bulb Man. So personally, his omission from this game wouldn't bother me.

Idk Mokap looks like he's gonna be pretty good this time around. That crazy lift and slam telekinesis move looks pretty damned good.
