I also recommend a fantastic Radio station website called http://www.pandora.com
You have to register but its a request-styled radio. You type in an artist song, album, genre, or phrase regarding the song and it creates a radio station that is actually similar. Apparently hand-sorted by DJ's. They take the song you requested, and compare. This whole process takes about 5 seconds.
It's good because personally it is extremely annoying when I look up songs from Mogwai or Apoptygma Berserk, and I end up getting Nelly. This site supports all of those indie bands that you've never ever heard of. Just try it, it's awesome.
When you register Pandora gives you your own personal domain to add favorite tracks. It's fun to compare and share with friends. Here is my page:
