Liu Kang Zombie (quick edit)

A design i was working on for liu kang zombie (mksm style) Liu kang with cuts and mysterious smoke with zombies comign from the ground (poorly edited) Tell me what you think. The second pic was an idea to make sub-zero in to reptile (color change and small editing) but it didnt exactly come out the way i wanted it to.





Could someone tell me what they mean by pallete swap in photoshop? I was wondering how to do it so i could make more mksm characters using existing renders. Thanx a lot guys

To me i think pallete swap means changing the colour of the sprite as in if you want to pallete swap no0b saibot you would change him from black to red

Yeah i know, but it doesnt work on 3-d images like using fill or somthing. I used a filter for the green effect and i just don't understand pallete swapping or things like that.

quit whille you're well.... behind. practice on easier things liks sigs. if you don't know how to pallete swap even, then you need time.

I tell ya that the Liu Kang Zombie totally kicks butt. And the other one suppose to be? Reptile?

Yah, the face i messed up because i used the two colors on one layer instead of two like the skin.

I like it though, its nice.

the Liu Kang zombie one would be better without the zombies coming out of the ground...

Reptile just delete. It's just a pallette swap with crappy cut outs. I don't see any potential with that edit unless you redo the whole thing.

As for Kang, try making his skin a greenish color. I would recommend you use the lasso tool and go around Liu Kang's skin before you do this or else all your reds will turn green in the whole picture, and it will look like crap. Then go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation and go to Reds in the drop down menu. Once in Reds start messing around with the Hue, Saturation, and Lightness bars moving them left and right until you get a good enough rotten skin color look. Careful not to green out the wounds. It might be a better idea to green out Kang's body first and then add the wounds later.

That looks awsome. You know if I were you, I'd make Liu Kang's body and face pale. And just try to make the zombies a little bigger. For Reptile his hands should be all slimy and acidy.
