Need Help !!! Mission 8 (Advanced combo training)

I have mortal kombat deception for game cube, I'm playing the konquest mode to unlock Shujinko, but I'm stuck in training mission 8 (advanced combo training). It tells me to perform the poor soul move, I do it but it doesn't work, I have been trying if for 4 days now, I'm ready to freak out. Is there a secret to doing it.

I got stuck on a few too and I got past them by doing the combo really fast and not pressin buttons more than once

just practice the button move until u have it flluently and it will just work. and if u think that these are hard, try the ones in MKA
