KOMBAT/STORY MISC.
- Close to 200 unique finishers in-game (including Fatalities, Brutalities, Stage Brutalities and Faction Finishers).
- Each character has 3 to 4 unique dialogues per pairing.
- Liu Kang is unlocked via finishing the final chapter of Story Mode.
- Story Mode has 15 MK character cameos; Fujin, Stryker, Kabal, Sindel, Nightwolf, Smoke, Sektor, Frost, Li Mei, Cyrax, Tanya, Baraka, Rain, Bo’ Rai Cho & Shujinko.
- Out of those 15 cameos, 5 of them can be fought during the course of Story Mode; Sindel, Smoke, Sektor, Baraka & Rain. All of them have slightly updated looks based on previous costumes, ranging from minimal to drastic.
- The Krypt is almost twice the size of MK 2011’s with close to 420 unlockable items.
- There are 8 character deaths in Story Mode.

They said something about 104 0r 140 Brutalities in todays stream. Could be why there are so many finishers.

Holy fvcking shit. If it's true that Sonya will have a klassic costume ala MK1, I will shit a whole house. Not just a brick, but you know.... a whole manor.

I'm glad they're bringing classic characters back as cameos. I'm assuming these cameo characters are going to be in the Kombat Pack.

There's nothing "likely legit" about this, it's more of his fake leaks, or fake leaks from someone pretending to be him. Either way...

The amount of arenas makes this credible to me. Latest builds show a small selection of arenas:

Exactly 14, actually, if the random select is a placeholder.

What doesn't support this is the amount of alts. I mean Jesus Christ. They said MKX would have less than Injustice, but they could have been talking about DLC only.

Not really. There's very little story information here that we didn't know/very strongly suspect before. And what information is brand new (e.g. Frost, Shujinko, Bo'Rai Cho) is just teasers.

This will be great speculation fodder for the next couple of weeks. :-D

Huh well that's certainly... interesting. Despite that this is just speculation, I kinda want that Liu Kang being unlocked at the end of story to be false. I just don't see him worthy enough for something like that...

With various characters having cameos, is it safe to assume that Frost picture that was roaming around might now not be considered fake?


That is if this is really legit? Of course speculations are speculations. If any of this is indeed true then well... hooray!!! I get to see Frost again!!!

yeah i want to be falase as well but the way they not reavling liu kang yet it most likely true then

I think a support group should be set up for Fujin fans to help us deal with this. Doubly so, if he's majestic perfection in story mode and Raiden's a complete dud.

Demonic Shinnok is probably the one we have seen as his alternate. Elder God may be the main one (considering the statues) and the classic may be MK4.

There's no way that doofus is the origin of this info. Even if this is fake, it's still very, very well made. There's some genuinely new information here (arena variations?), some intriguingly arbitrary distinctions (some arenas get variations, others don't), there are no spelling or grammar mistakes anywhere (his leak was littered with them). This is way more professional than the bio leak.

This feels very plausible to me.
