Hey... uh.. you all. What's your thoughts on THIS one?

I've tweeted Ed Boon and Shaun Himmerick with the picture, asking if it is a leak or a fake, so let's see what they have to say about it.
 
I seriously doubt this is real and she's in.

Unless this Frost is Sub-Zero's daughter and member of the Special Forces.

Honestly, I really can't. Save for the background which looks really wrong. But Frost looks serious legit in that picture.
 
She's literally wearing Sub-Zero's primary.

While I would totally love for her to be in this, there's no way she's going to be wearing identical outfits towards Sub-Zero after seeing her in the comic. I figured she would have more of an MMA fighter outfit than anything.
 
Man, I feel like a fool. I really can't be sure. I SHOULD be sure. My instinct says it's totally fake for obvious reasons, but the model shown here is nearly 1 to 1 quality with what we've seen with revealed characters so far.
 
I think it's real. The entire model looks INCREDIBLY NRS-made and the background looks legit, NRS doesn't put as much detail into further-distanced background pieces as foreground ones.

You can use default female body from some warehouse or custom made, hair like that is easy to make and outfit is modified to fit female body.
 
Lol like I said earlier, this is fake... No way in hell she would be wearing the exact same thing as subzero..

I don't particularly believe it's real. But the assets you're talking about would still take quite a bit of effort. That model STILL looks very very very good for a piece of fanart. If it was made from scratch, then this person needs a job offer from NRS. If it was made from pre-existing model assets, then how did a fan get ahold of the assets to begin with?

Model rips actually. If it's fake, then they probably ripped a female model from Injustice and modded the CRAP out of it.

You can just make them from scratch. And yeah there are fans who put shitton of effort for her. I also have made my own version of Frost. Both 2D and 3D, made custom trailer for her (MKX) and almost finished comics with her. So anyone with same fanatism like mine of course can make a model for her. And I gotta say that's some nice work. Mine Frost looks more like monk, while this one kinda matches her comic counterpart.

No, it looks like someone took Sub-Zero's textures and slapped them on to a very mediocre model.

It's conceivable that she shows up looking like that in storymode for a couple of scenes, same as Sindel does. But there's no way that's a playable model. She literally looks like female Sub-Zero.
